I enjoyed this video. You seem to have a real passion for your DVD & BluRay collection, which is a good thing. I have to say that I love The Machinist. Definitely Christian Bale's best performance & it's a film that I had to watch over & over again to fully understand the story.

And also the dad in that film (Perry Benson) is really, really good. If you like his acting (and they're available in the states) you should check out a director called Shane Meadows because he's in a bunch of his films, but I highly recommend 'This is England'.

Great update Shawn. You got some real sweet titles. I wish they'd issue the entire series of Rocko's Modern Life. Rugrats was also a great show. Remember when Nick was a great channel, just like when Disney rocked. Nice picks on tv on dvd. The X-Files and Star Trek (OS and TNG). I adore all of them. Ferris Bueller....what an amazing classic.

You could do a video series where you go through all of your movie collection, maybe like a shelf at a time, you could talk a little bit about some movies, and at the end of the series you would know how many dvd's you own. My favorite Rugrat's episode is the one where Stu makes that little robot clown doll, and then the babies have to fight off the army of them. It reminded me a lot of Chucky when I was a kid. Not Chucky from Rugrat's but from Child's play. So just that the babies beat them made me really happy.

Actually both the pete and ptet seasons sold pretty well. The reason season 3 and all other nick shows have not gotten real releases was because of a dispute between Paramount and Nick. I can't recall what exactly, but I think it ahd something to do with new managment at Paramount.
Your right about that Rugrats release, just Nick DVD releases period. I wish they would release the first season of All That and Roundhouse, I don't know if you remember Roundhouse because it didn't last that long.

Great DVD update. I really loved it. Your story about the teacher was really funny but sad in the same time. Although I thought Canadian Bacon wasn't a bad movie. I mean, it was very average but it was interesting to see. Also Revolutionary Road was great and you are right about the music comparison with Road to Perdition, because they are both made by music composer Thomas Newman. How does "A Bug's Life" look on Blu-ray? Does it look just as good as "Ratatouille" and "Wall-E" ?
Those x files 1 and 2 seemd aufully thin. Are you shure all the disks are there shawn? there should be 24 episodes on the first and 25 on the second i think

Actually the 3rd season of "Pete and Pete" was cancelled due to the merger of Dreamworks and Paramount. Viacom's dvd distribution changed and so the 3rd season was cancelled. Actually, "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" sold quite well.
The Rugrats music has been and will always be great. The music is created by Mutato Musika, the same guys that made the original Crash Bandicoot music, and some other notable work.

Ferris Bueller is my hero, thats like 1 of my top favorite movies growing up. i have it on dvd, now its on blu ray have to get it now for sure on there also. that was also filmed in my hometown chicago

i would have to say that x-files has also peaked my curiosity. I enjoy star trek NG and i watched all the trek movies and actually prefer the 'older' ones. The first one definitely had slow scenes but I totally liked it and the stories of the following movies definitely pick up... wrath of kahn was ok but that's only because it has a lot more action... the NG movies were kinda lame except for 'generations' which was pretty good.
Thank for informing me on the rugrats i would like to get them because ive been just getting the vhs where ever i could find them, and i like family guy and american and the simpsons and the cleveland show and miss king of the hill but when i bought seth macfarlins dvd i felt ripped off

I believe Malcolm in the Middle is another show that didn't sell well, so the first season is only one available.
