Let’s face it- we all wish we were one superhero (or in some cases supervillain) or another and often dream about suiting up in their particular costume. Whether it be Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America or Thor the outfit is part of what makes the hero and therefore must make you or the actor playing the part feel like one too. This means that a ton of detail and effort go into making these intricate designs which can often take weeks, if not months, to get right. The love and effort that goes into crafting these suits means that there are a lot of secrets and hidden details coming from just the superhero outfit alone. But even when you put in a ton, and I mean a ton, of effort- they are not always appreciated by the actors. Or sometimes, the hidden messages within are sometimes missed. Or we just forget how much they have truly evolved over time.

I love how all the actors complain about their suits, when there are MILLIONS of fans (myself included) who would GLADLY wear them instead XD

Dude you have to factor in some key things here. Those actors are wearing those suits for 12-14 hours a day shooting, many are not comfortable and hot. They in a few cases have to do very physical stunts in them and some basic things aren’t so easy to do in the suits. Lastly all the physical training just to look right in the suits they have to do for months before shooting. So there’s a bit more to it

As someone who makes suits and armors for cosplayers, it boggles my mind as to why these suits have to be so uncomfortable. You think if a guy in a garage can build a suit that someone can wear the entire day at a con, Disney could manage the same.
