The song is a tribute to Anwar Ibrahim the current Prime Minister of Malaysia. He was previously a high riser in politics before being brought down by his boss, accused of corruption and sodomy (a crime in Malaysia). He was illegally beaten by the chief of police at the time , to the point where he had to have back surgery and denied many freedoms even other prisoners enjoyed. More than 20 years later the charges of sodomy were dropped and the corruption sentence was served (but never proven) and Anwar began running for the top job himself. The establishment tried to put him down again with new charges and a rigged election system but alongside the dude that put him behind bars he was part of a coalition that won the 2018 election but couldn't be PM due to a lack of numbers, putting the dude in power. That coalition failed and the old government got back into power in 2020, only to lose the election to the coalition led by Anwar in the next elections. This time the old dude failed to even keep his seat and is now relegated to Pepperidge Farm recollections. Anwar is seen as someone more in touch with reality than his opponents (think old school Republicans and corporate Democrats) and because of his long time in prison he is more relatable to many Malaysians. Anwar is also not related to any of the previous Prime Ministers in a country where people tend to build dynasties (think the Kennedys and Bushes). He has a strong following among youth and the creative industry, which is why these rappers got together to put out this tribute song. ""Keranamu" in Malay means "For You"".
