This is one of the best videos about the Zimbabwe that I’ve seen. Thank you. I will be going there in December 2023 - point to see some of the things/places you saw.
Thanks for the great video Demii, I just came across your channel. I’m planning a trip there soon, did you book your activities through an operator or directly onsite?
There isn't one with a view of the actual waterfall, but there is the Lookout that has view of the gorge and bridge and Banes that is on the river. You can download my free guide to Victoria Falls here. demiisolotravels.gumroad.com/l/trlrsb
We are going to visit South Africa for two weeks, and would like to do a side trip to VF for a day. Do you have any comments on the feasibility of a day trip to the Falls?
That’s tricky because the earliest flight coming in is at 10am and the last one leaving is at 2pm, so you would need to spend a night here if you want to see the falls and do some activities… it also takes about 20-30 mins to get to the airport from town… Hope this answers your question! 😊
Best video I've seen by now, short simple and straight to the point! I still didn't finish my research but I have a few questions if you don't mind! - Is it affordable or expensive? I'm planning to stay 2-3 days and do a few activities like bungee jumping & ziplining, how much would that approximately cost? - Is the night life good or should I hit another town / country for that? Thanks in advance!
I’m glad it was useful! 👌 A nights accommodation is usually between 30-60 USD a night. (Also check Airbnb) Most of the activities like zip lining and river cruises etc are going to be around 120-150 USD There are a couple places you can visit for the night life, Shoe-strings is the most popular! Victoria Falls is quite far away from any of the other cities, but there is also Great Zimbabwe in the city of Masvingo, and Harare is the capital, so a lot going on! Hope this helps! 😁
Thank you so much for this! 🙏🏽 I’m going next month, also to the Zim side 😃 Can I use Rands in Zimbabwe or do I have to convert my money to US Dollars?
You can definitely use Rand here, I’m not sure what rate you’ll get, but most places you’ll be able to use your card. 😁 just make sure to let your bank know you’ll be in Zim… So glad you found this helpful… 😊
Three days is great but you might want to stay a day or two longer, depending on how many activities you want to do and how long your trip is… But you’ll be able to see most of it in 3-4 days… 😬
Do we need tickets for Victoria falls? Also do you recommend crocodile park? I also saw there is some place where you can walk with lions? Do you have all these information?
You will arrive at the gate to the waterfall and you will have to pay and get the ticket at the gate… ☺️ the price depends on which country you are from… I absolutely love the crocodile park, they have a cool snake collection too! I haven’t walked with the lions yet, I chose to walk with the elephants… 🤷♀️ I hope this helps… ☺️
Yes! Well, if you make sure you are super aware of your surroundings… there are quite a lot of people that cycle between the two countries with charcoal on the back of their bikes to sell, so you could always stick behind one of them just to be a bit safer (if you start feeling uncomfortable) ☺️
This guide perfectly captures the essence of this iconic destination. I enjoy following your journeys! 💖
I’m so glad! Thank you so much for taking the time to make my day… 😁🌼
Finally a video that also focuses on quality and not just shaky shots. Thank you for doing Victoria Falls justice
Thank you so much for the kind words! ☺️

You forgot to mention your beauty ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words! ☺️🌼☺️
How is the risk of malaria and/or yellow fever?
In Victoria Falls the risk is very low to almost 0. However other parts of Zimbabwe and Africa do have "malaria areas". Hope this helps! 😁
Worth taking malaria tablets though better safe than sorry. Particularly if it’s wet session.
What's a good amount of time to spend in the area? Thinking 3 nights

Beautiful Africa 🌍 Mosi oa Tunya ❤
Such an amazing spot! 😍🤯
Would you recommend traveling to VF September?
September and October can be really hot! If you go in the beginning of September you might miss the heat wave. ☺️
May June is best
Indeed these are the most popular times to visit! 😊
@@JanissaWilliams-fk5bf may and June are best when the flow is greatest.
Is it possible to cycle from the town of Victoria Falls to Livingstone? (Safe with the traffic?)
Yes! Well, if you make sure you are super aware of your surroundings… there are quite a lot of people that cycle between the two countries with charcoal on the back of their bikes to sell, so you could always stick behind one of them just to be a bit safer (if you start feeling uncomfortable) ☺️
Whre are you from
I’m from Zimbabwe! I was born in Harare… ☺️
Lower the music.
I’ll definitely take this into account for the next one! Thank you… 🙏 😊
Very expensive
It really can be! 🫣👀
