Nah, Rasengan is just a good technique for an Otsutsuki. Mechanically simple, cheap, and can be easily altered for other purposes. The main flaw for the technique is requiring a high level of Chakra control, something the Otsutsuki have by default.

One thing I like is the difference between Boruto and Naruto's use of the Rasengan, even with their bonded entities. Naruto uses Rasengan for bigger and more powerful blasts, especially with Kurama. Boruto, with or without Momoshiki, apart from the Giant Rasengan, uses Rasengan variants that are more geared towards assassination. Vanishing Rasengan, Rasendan, and Rasengan Uzuhiko are all very much tooled for assassinating efficiently.
The cool part is that he can instantly prepare a rasengan so there isn't a small delay as to when the rasengan can hit someone which everyone including Naruto have. So he can basically be in a taijutsu brawl and suddenly, chou Oodma rasengan to the face.
