I'm sure you shared a million times about the evenness of the glue to avoid wrinkles but for some reason in this tutorial it absolutely popped out and hopefully sticks -pun intended. Also at the end, I was struck with Martyn's advice. Several years ago I was challenged to write a six word motto- it is: always be brave; never be invisible. Sometimes we need to be reminded 😂 the piece is gorgeous
Gorgeous! Luv it and the new paper design. Great teaching! I have finally got it for some of my personal decoupage errors, smoooooth paste bed. Cant wait to see all the new paper. Great job guys!! Xxoo
I love how you showed us the whole process in time lapse with music overlay. Thank you for your dedication to teaching us composition, process and tips and tricks! This piece to beautiful!
Watching you create always makes me feel good. I absolutely adore how you blended the top of the unit it reminds me of clouds on old oil paintings. Absolutely stunning xxx
I am really enjoying the new way Martin is filming when you are painting. I could watch that all day. I too am watching the show. I know the dress you are talking about. Anyway thank you for sharing your ideas with us. God Bless both of you.
I ABSOLUTELY love this!! From the piece of furniture to the staging and final words. I’ve got to get my hands on this new print as soon as it’s available. You never cease to amaze me!! Thanks Lel & Marty
Total beauty! I love love those parrots and the rich colors! Your eye for blending is just so exceptional. Martyn is right, I know speaking for myself, I do need to be brave and dig in. All of your decoupage and blending tips will come to fruition hopefully this week. I've dismantled my old buffet as much as I had to, cleaned it off of layers of dirt with tons of Krud Kutter, took off the rotted back board, the ruined warped top and drug it into my living room all in 114 degree weather!! I'm getting to 6 old to be doing such things but I i did it! Trying to decide on how to do the two middle short drawers but having such fun looking at the possibilities! You Lel are such an inspiration and really put one's hidden creativity mode into gear! Have an exceptionally great week, the two of you and your family. From across the many miles and ocean waters......xxx❤❤
AGAIN!! You have done it again!! I 💗 the personality you have given this one. Love parrots, love the colors, love the paper, Enjoyed it all! AGAIN! 👀 next Sunday. Keep well and GOD BLESS!!!!!!
All I can say is Beautiful, You take my mind off of the economic problems we are having here in the USA is so nice to watch you turn something so boring and old into something beautiful. Love Ya Both.
Love Love Love Bridgerton! LOVE this piece! I could sit and watch you paint and blend and stamp for hours! I learn so much from you. Marvelous, absolutely MARVELOUS! Thank you so so much ❤
Fantastic tutorial. I LOVE the enhanced camera footage, it helps me so much to see what you do when you “go on” and finish what you started cause you think we’re bored. Lel, WE’RE NOT BORED! Anyway, what a gorgeous piece, I again learned a ton about blending in the paper, which I’ve grown to love btw…. Thank you again and again. ❤❤❤. PS, I’m late watching, so I had this to see while you’re sick. MAny prayers for health and healing. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Cheers for your colour bravery. I'm so sick of black, white, battleship grey, and farmhouse style. It's so refreshing to see bougie patterns and interesting additions. BRAVO!!
This turned out so cheerful and beautiful! I love the golden leaf edge pattern, it adds the perfect touch. It's crisp, clean, and fabulous! The music is perfect, Martyn!
Wow. So beautiful. The stamping and handpainting bring it all together. Great music accompaniment--straight from Bridgerton yes? Martin your camera work is awesome and I love your “final words”! Can that be a regular feature? 🌸👍🎊
I love this piece so much! I always love your maximalist aesthetic but I love that you held back on the top. It's just perfect. The blending, the stamp and the border were just right! You guys are so cute. I love that you call each other darling! And I'm a Bridgerton fan and have been thinking about inspired pieces as well. ❤
What a masterpiece! I'm in love with this project, especially the blended top! What is your thought process when you're blending? Your technique is simply enchanting. May I request of you a tutorial on choosing colors and blending techniques using colors? In anticipation of a favorable response, thank you for sharing your creative genius with us!
Yes I will revisit a cloudy blend. It's just pushing the colours together till they all mesh but any blend needs water to make it work. Glad you liked this and look out for a cloudy blend in a future video. Lel x
I recently found your channel. Love it! I am in the US and just ordered some of your papers from a distributor here. Can't wait to see the papers in person. Love how creative you are, and I am going to try to work some of your techniques into some pieces. Thank you!
Hi my Stencils are not out yet but hopefully very soon. sorry And here the link to our decoupage paper group the stockist info is in the featured section at the top. We have stockist all over the world. facebook.com/groups/marleymagicdecoupageclan/?ref=share And if you want to see all our designs then please go to sales@madebymarley.co.uk Hope this helps x
Love your new video format with all the new cameras, the speeded up segments and music. Beautiful piece but I think the yellow leaves on the top are screaming for a black or brown outline with a Posca pen to match the small ones on the front.
Hello Lel and Martyn. 😂❤❤ Y'all make me laugh and have a good time while watching perfection and simplicity, yet allowing us to learn your skills from a master artist. Lel thank you and thank you Martyn for being right there with her and for being her right man and partner in crime. I wish I could meet you both in real life someday. I love you both because you are the real deal. ❤️ ❤ Hugs from Cumberland, Maryland. 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
I've rewound several times and I can't work out what you used for the yellowy green shade. I have this paper and would like to use it quite a bit on a little 2 drawer chest I want to upcycle. The closest I've seen online is frenchic pistachio but I don't think that's quite right. Can I ask what you recommend please? Thanks
I use Annie Sloan paints.. But as I said in the video... I used some acrylic for my yellow as it matched my work. Annie's tilton yellow is a fabulous colour but not quite mustard enough you could add rodmel which is an Annie Sloan purple to the tilton this might give you what you want x
I was totally into this finish & piece right up until u put the yellow paint on the top, but didn’t got over it with stamp again as u usually do, & the white handles….Nooooooooooo
I'm sure you shared a million times about the evenness of the glue to avoid wrinkles but for some reason in this tutorial it absolutely popped out and hopefully sticks -pun intended. Yes if your glue isn't smooth you get ridges.... Ask me how I know Dar.... Looking forward to working with you x x
That paper is stunning 😍😍😍😍
Thanks so much Evie x
I love how you showed us the whole process in time lapse with music overlay. Thank you for your dedication to teaching us composition, process and tips and tricks! This piece to beautiful!

Loved this, especially the inside cupboard door decoupage. Wonderful surprise. Bold for the win!!
Oh yes you are right.... Bold for the win x
This paper is gorgeous. I can’t wait to see them at the end of July. This was a wonderful tutorial. The cloudy blend on the top was chef’s kiss.

I always wonder what Martin thinks when he films you. I think he's thinking to himself, she's so good at that! Hahaha

I don't need you to imagine marty doesn't think it he repeatedly tells me 😂😂😂😂
He's very biased ❤️
Love your new video format with all the new cameras, the speeded up segments and music. Beautiful piece but I think the yellow leaves on the top are screaming for a black or brown outline with a Posca pen to match the small ones on the front.
Ha ha I thought that after the fact I was so busy trying not to over work it.... But your right Dana x x x

Beautiful! 😊 Always learn something, but when you use the same products that I own, like a peacock 🦚 tail stamp, better. 😊😊😊
Oh yes it's an old stamp but a goid one x x
I really love this piece. Did you just use 3 sheets or was it more?❤
I used one set, to do this but broke into another to do the inside....
Does your paint have primer in it ?
No it's Annie Sloan it's a no prep paint... X
