I saw your video of the Agatha reading shawl and fell in love with it! I was using the exact same yarn in another project, but I wasn't crazy about how it was turning out. I frogged that one and made the Agatha shawl instead. I'm so happy i did. I love it so much! Thank you for showing it to us in that video.
Right on! I’m so glad my video helped you decide on a better project for your yarn. The yarn community on TH-cam has definitely sparked so much creativity in me, and I’ve frogged a lot of projects when I come across something I like better, lol 😆
Thank you Kay! She has so many amazing patterns…it’s hard to decide which to pick! I’ve been watching your older videos where you share her patterns you’ve finished. Which would you say was your favorite for DK yarn?
@@QueenofSkeins The only one I've knit in DK yarn has been her Wrap It Real Good. The pattern is great! The set I used for it was a random assortment of ooak's and bits & bobs so it doesn't have a cohesive look. I'm thinking I'll knit it again with a better coordinated set this year. I believe Lamina might have a DK option. I knit that one in fingering and loved it. (Also on the docket to knit again.)
I absolutely love that cowl/shrug but its knitted wwwaaahhh Trying to find something comparable in a crochet pattern. Any ideas Brandi? Or is it Brandy? Is yours basically a tube with the same number of stitches all the way around or it tapered at one end?
Thanks Dawna 😊 I haven’t personally crochet this pattern, but it’s a similar take in a non knit version. If you try it out I sure hope you will share and tag me 😁 www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/zola-bulky-stacked-shell-cowl-shrug 👍🏻 Brandy
And yes, it’s a very stretchy tube that’s the same stitch count from top to bottom. I think with a crochet version a little bit of decreasing on the top would benefit since you can’t get the same stretch as knit ribbing.
@QueenofSkeins thanks for the link! I purchased it and will start it after I finish the one I started last night which will be a long tube just done in hdc in the back loop. It's a rectangle that I'll stitch together once it's 50" long. I love the one you shared though. I think I have just the yarn I want to use.

Can’t wait to see your creation! ☺️ Good idea using the back loop HDC… it really is the most like a knit ribbing I think.
