After 2times Boom ('12 and '14) finally time to find my way to Ozora!! And get myselfe there for my 50th this year!! Love all of you! And Love the Music! And Love to Dance! Since the ^Summer of Love 1989^ I am dancing. I am so lucky this electronic music found me! And it goes with me since than. Holding my Life on good frequencies. And since Swiss Psy came to me I am deffinitly infected!!
I was there 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 ! I hope the festival is still the same as i remember it! I got loads to do in my private life at the moment, but I look forward to visit OZORA again 2020! 2012 changed my life there! thanks

Could we live this way for longer than just the duration of a festival and on a much bigger scale? It has never been tested and I wish we could start with a nation which works with a completely new system. If it would be at least possible to just test different community systems. Otherwise we will never find a system which builds on the peoples love for life and not just to keep the economic engine running. The system of my dreams would look like this: It uses the internet as communication system (like the mushroom mycelium) and is based on the believe that a society (as a part of nature) is just like an organism, like a tree. It will organize itself once you provide it with the right soil, nurture it well and just give it enough time. It is governed by a decentralized government based on the internet whose only concern is to providing the best possible environment for its citizens to blossom. You will need some sort of money, but the basic human needs need to be completely covered by the government so that nobody has an excuse to live in survival/energy saving mode. I see it a bit like an unconditional basic income, just that it comes with one condition. To be a citizen, the person has to agree that his/her main goal will be self-improvement (of any sorts). You could take online courses of anything on the internet, meditate, do charity work, play music etc. And you would have to keep track of your progress with the national app which would react when you haven't done anything for a long time and seek contact with you. Not really to make you work again, but rather to see what your issues are which hold you back to live your life to the fullest. So whatever the issue is, f.i. of psychological nature it will send you the necessary help. The goal should be to annihilate the work nobody wants to do as fast as possible, or at least keep the time as short as possible which we need to spend doing them. So we can distribute working time and maybe only have 2-3 working days instead of 5-6 per week. Of course there will be freeloaders. At the beginning many as such. But that's okay. I'm convinced that not 100% of a population has to be productive in order to work. The better technology becomes the less work has to be done. And once the system has been established I think the number of non-participants will drastically increase. That's all about the system which comes to mind right now. I know it's quite random, but I think you guys are the most open-minded audience I could imagine. So, what are your thoughts about this kinda system? I think the most realistic and existing to day analogy of Ozora and alike are ecovillages/ecocommunities. The are many across the world, there is a even a huge ecovillage/'city' in India i believe where people live permanently there without using money (at least primarily) and so on..But yes would be amazing to see/test that in a far bigger scale..

You fight addictions by showing them the beauty of the world without drugs. I think if you givepeople enough time to try out what they need to they will learn.

I love the psytrance community. But i am disappointed a little-bit. They always talk about awakening and revolution. Interesting comment! I think it's better if such festivals remain a place where everyone can just come together, and leave their political differences at the door. Just get in touch with their tribal caveman selves for a bit, then go back into the world fully energized. I know for a fact people who are enemies in the regular world, can be friends at festivals. But I don't think restructuring a psy-trance festival to heal conflicts in the regular world will do much good. It will probably just overrun the magic of the festival, and make it another part of the world everyone wants to escape from. That said, I think you are right to recognize that there are many people at such events who talk a big game and are really proud of themselves, without actually contributing much to solve problems they talk about. I do agree but I also think you might have a skewed view from judging the whole movement by this movie (I think the movie really does not reflect the movement). Many of the people I know from ozora are active in things like climate change and politics. Many people I know from ozora go to protests, or organize them. Pretty much everyone supports climate causes and in some way chases those. Whether passively through buying or eating habits or actively by organizing demonstrations or starting lawsuits. Of course not everyone does this. Also, if you think about the medium that an aftermovie is, you want to see what happened at the festival itself and you want to motivate those that havent been, and satisfy those that have. It doesnt really work if you try to reflect the change it has on each individuals life outside the festival. I agree that there is some hedonism, but I dont think being critical of its representation in the aftermovie is going to engage those that should be.

My favorite edition of Ozora in 2018 and i have been 4 times, but the after movie this year and last year are not even close to the quality of the movies before. The 2016 movie I think I watched 3 times in a row, it just felt like a art peace of its own :)

In my opinion, no... I spent around 500 euros during 7 days there (tickets, food and drinks). I make way less than that...
