the indescision when someone says "Avatar was a masterpiece" and you have to glean from context wether theyre talking about James Cameron's or The Last Airbender
the lil "mismatched" socks are jsut rolled up pairs to save space!! MC jsut has two pairs of some of them :) also the lil dvd of the matrix is a very good touch i lov this game so much
I watched this when it dropped, and it convinced me to buy the game. It ported to mobile recently, and even though I'd already bought it for pc i bought it again. It's so soothing and charming. Watching Holly's playthrough again makes me want to start a fresh game. (Especially because I recently found out about the darkstar ending.)

i actually really respect holly's take on the 2010 chapter. we dont know what happened with the partner other than our main character moved out two years later. it is fun to dunk on them bc of the sterile living space and lack of space for the mc's stuff, but honestly it does almost feel bordering to the 'i hate men' type of crowd that's just kinda mean sometimes. also overall just a real fun playthrough, love me a good holly chill stream~
Gosh I loved this game and its concept so much! Honestly, it's so good that I kind of wish for even more to unpack. Like, I can imagine this games concept being continued to tell even more stories. Like, it's such a wonderful way to tell a story!
The Outer Wilds has permanently altered the trajectory of my life. Not only because of the story, but whenever I hear two alternating guitar chords (31:35) I am reminded of it.
When we meet the girlfriend, we learn that she has an interest in movies and cinematography; some kind of fancy trophy; a _lot_ of merchandise for the TV show _Anti Hero,_ including a mug, a poster, a shirt, and a baseball cap; a lot of makeup, and expensive tastes in general. Could it be she's an _actress?_ Specifically _on Anti Hero?_
Just want to say, as a guy, even I would feel a little weirded out if I moved into an apartment like that (roommate or boyfriend). There is no personality at all, I instantly got bad vibes from that. I know 60 year old men with more expressive living spaces lmao.
I had to skip to the end because i was so worried the final level was going to be moving the wife’s personal belongings to a hospital room or funeral home or something fucked up like that
