Hi! I'm from the bang camp where Andrew Littleford helped us on trumpet. I'm that girl who couldn't get the sound. I just wanted to say thanks and you band is amazing.
Just saw you guys at Winnipeg Jazz Fest yesterday! Four years strait too. Amazing jazz cover, barely recognized the original in it. Looking forward to more from you guys!
Absolutely fantastic job! I am wondering if by any chance you created a score for this that the public could buy? I would love to play this in my schools brass band. Keep up the good work all of you.
Love Love Love this!! So much so that I bought the track off of iTunes. A little disappointed that it’s not the same version that is in the clip, but it’s still in heavy rotation in our house.
Please forgive the comment, I love the sound and the musicianship the musicians have. My first year in music school played a concert with Clark Terry and told me I was a good player but just to white, I started laughing and said I'm Indian and laughed back and said just be cool and just play. Good luck and hope I can see your group in concert. Peace brothers.
Hello guys ! It's just wonderful !!! Dirty Caffish Brass Band is a very good brass band ! Magic Trumpet Channel on You tube, (Stéphane PISO, French trumpeter) like it ! As we say in French "Bonne Continuation !"
OK tell me if this happens to you your last chair but everyone thinks you should be first chair but first chair is awful but he is first chair because he is the band directors favorite
+lee mason New Orleans Brass Bands are not the same as British. From wikipedia: "The tradition of brass bands in New Orleans, Louisiana dates to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Traditionally, New Orleans brass bands could feature various instrumentations, often including trumpets, trombones, clarinets, saxophones, sousaphones and percussion." Saxophones are made out of brass, so even if you want to get technical, they're officially a brass instrument.

Samantha Robles True by literal definition, but it's actually quite common for bands with saxophones to be considered as "brass bands" if the root of their horn sounds are still brass!

But this is a "Brass Band." Why is there a sax? That's a woodwind.
Hey Zach! We take our main influence from the New Orleans Brass Band tradition where saxophones are commonly included. Check 'em out!
I'm confused....Sax isn't a brass...???
Also, in Woodwind ensembles you'll see French Horn in there, so i guess this is fair share lol
Saxophone isn't super high pitched and whiney so they can chill with us lol.
Jake Gyllenhaal plays tambourine?
Ok ok I understand now
Where have you been all my life?
Bad a**!
you are so great guyz..:) +1 Sub
Can you guys check out my channel, and subscribe?
Any old DCI players in here ?
Very good... But saxophones are not in brass bands

I think it would be better of u slowed it down some
mello?!? and this isnt drum corps!??!!
its system blue too!!! bd for life
Somebody buy that poor mellophone player a horn, Lol.
I dig the funky rhythms, dudes, but something is out of tune. Is it in the trombones?
saxophone is woodwind not brass
This guy's sound very good ...... But are sound like better and them writ guy's on there on youtube
There's a saxophone!!!! This is an abomination, how could you call it a brass band with a SAXOPHONE!!
ssaarrccaassmm
there are 2 saxophones
Well then saxaphone shouldn't be called woodwinds
Samantha Robles en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_band#New_Orleans
It should be because it is but a majority of brass bands have a saxophone.
this isn't a brass band because there are woodwinds in it
+Xavier Newby New Orleans Brass Bands are not the same as British. From wikipedia: "The tradition of brass bands in New Orleans, Louisiana dates to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Saxophones are made out of brass, so even if you want to get technical, they're officially a brass instrument.
They're officially in the woodwinds section, for some reason, but they're often played in conjunction with brass because they fit right in.
This isn't even a brass band cuz there is saxaphone
Technically saxophones are made of brass
Zach Phillips Still a reed instrument.
Samantha Robles True by literal definition, but it's actually quite common for bands with saxophones to be considered as "brass bands" if the root of their horn sounds are still brass!
Saxophone and Horn aka melaphone both sound close to the same
Brass bands in the uk are different to America, we only have brass instruments- no woodwind (Saxophones). Perhaps that is what Samantha means?
How can this be a "brass band" when there is saxophones a Reid instrument bunch of fakes
this is so mid 2010s
