this is the final video of the Chinese Husqvarna build, replacing the oil pump for the chain. I had no clue if the old one was still good or not, didn't want to take the chance to I replace it. you'll need to remove the clutch off the chainsaw. you can see that video here
    • DIY Husqvarna Chainsaw...
once the clutch is removed you'll need to remove the 2 bolts holding the oil pump in and carefully remove clutch brake from the chainsaw. This will allow you to remove the oil pump form the Husqvarna 372xp chainsaw.
if your chain is not getting oil then most likely you'll need to replace the oil pump

One of the best things about videoing a teardown is that when stuff randomly explodes out, you can review the recorded footage to see where it all was prior to the incident.

If you engage the brake first then most of the tension is relieved. Makes it much easier. I had one of those springs rip through the end of my finger when it shot out of there. Yeah it ruined my day. How's it going Steve?

He's either a Gorilla or I'm a Nancy, or that's a weak spring. My spring was near impossible to reinstall and much longer fully expanded.
