Cheers Don, it wasn't COVID in my case, Ive had issues with anemia that turned quite serious and needed a tranfusion, hence the lack of energy here. Just hoping the new blood takes better and the red cells keep working or it'll be regular transfusions..no fun. Glad you're getting over it! Harvest is one of the essentials. Baffles me people think it's soft rock though, James Taylor or Jackson Browne style - it's like they skip Alabama and Words, and none of the main Laurel Canyon stars were doing Man Needs A Maid and There's A World! Have a terrific Christmas buddy!
Thanks Davy, as always. Sure hoping you're feeling better soon so you can enjoy the holidays fully. Take care. Thanks again for sharing your review and candid opinions. It's a shame about the BBC DVD Audio Issues on Neil Young's Harvest Anniversary Edition boxset. But it looks like NYA will be addressing based on Neil's comments. love & mercy
Get well soon Davy. And thanks for that, Harvest is a top 20 album for me, cassette, 2 copies vinyl and CD version. What you show here is worth it for the film and ‘words’ from session alone, LOVE that song.
Hi Davy, hope you feel better soon. Just watched The Raspberries Starting Over discussion and realized you already made The Faces Stay With Me comparison to All Through The Night before I did, so apologies for that. I've loved the Harvest album ever since my older brother used to play it when I was a boy. Love many Neil Young albums. Cheers and get well soon.
No worries my man, best make the point twice than not at all!! I felt a lot better on our show than I did here just 2 days earlier, so here's hoping! Have a great Sunday!
Hoping you feeling better buddy I recovering from a recent mini breakdown I've felt shot with dark depression but I'm still trying battle on. Excellent review you know your movies and music inside out & your videos are humorous and entertaining. Just spent £33 Eureka pre ordered In The Line Of Duty 3 & 4, Yes Madam & Royal Warriors being 1 & 2, Eureka, 88 Films & Big Finish trying bankrupt me Lol😂😂😂
Hope you feel better soon Davy. Excellent review. Have you watched the BBC DVD? There are a lot of complaints about its sound quality and Neil has addressed it on his site. Personally I don't have a major issue with it and confess I've seen it so many times that I won't be returning to it very often. Harvest Time is fantastic although it has further supported my opinion that Graham Nash is a complete twonk. Can't stand him. Any views on Mr Nash?
Thanks! Yeah, Graham is and always was very self important. And got away with a lot under the banner of "soft spoken English" wheras Crosby and Stills accents and manner alone made them seem brasher.
@@DavysFlicks I don't actually think he's got very much to feel self important about. Crosby is sometimes an utter arse too but at least he admits his failings and faced his demons. Nash appears to show no self awareness at all and his last interview was deeply embarrassing.
Hi Davy - thanks for the review, excellent. Not sure if I'm going to buy it or not tbh. Is a classic album thats for sure. More to come, you say lolol. Thats for sure. Hope you get better soon. Cheers Doug
DAVY!! How do you expect to get better......"if you don't eat your meat!" I'm in full "Hellbent for Leather" mode in getting your BOX OFFICE to 1000k for your XMAS gift!! Now start eating your VEGGIES!! COUCH POTATO!! (-:
Thanks for the review, hope you are feeling better!
Thanks very much. early days but getting there!
Get well. I am just getting over COVID myself. But this is one of my favorite albums of all time. What a great review.

Dr. Money recommends 1 bourbon, 1 scotch, 1 beer, repeat, cure all.
I think 370 odd subs in 9 days may be a bit of an ask but thanks!
My doc recommends zero booze! I prefer your prescription!
@@DavysFlicks Hey brother was just trying to be funny, wish you well , god speed, love.
