- Last time I posted a video like this you & I had two businesses being ran out of my garage and celebrated wins with Pizza Hut big dinner boxes for Dakota, Gels, and Mario as my cats accidentally peed on Gels' winter coat. That was six months ago, how wild is that? I found myself questioning how things were going so I figured I should just go back to what I told you we were going to do this year..
Our 2024 goals were to 1) get a shop for the boys 2) drift at Ebisu 3) Continue making big videos and 4) blow up MartiniWorks and 5) start a family

Ever since street cars magazine were absolete I never found someone/something remotely closed to a genuine car enthusiast place were I felt that I could relate to or enjoy, you are one of the only real car enthusiast out there with that touch (most car youtubers are now only for clout and click bait tbh) Im glad someone like you exist and share with us the car enthusiast life and be real about it! Initially I was drawn in by Iron Lungs Martini shorts but I stuck around because of how down to earth and honest you and you’re friends are. I’ll stick behind whatever you want to do. Don’t kill yourself trying to be something you’re not and we’ll love all the more for it. Keep it up big man 🫶
I think you got the right idea separating MartiniWorks and your own personal channel. My suggestion is to keep MartiniWorks with content that helps the car community, providing us with tips and tools on how we can enjoy our rides. With the personal channel, give content like behind the scenes and share em like you would as a story. Your fan base would appreciate them a lot I think, since they can know you in a "personal" level while MartiniWorks still provides educational content. Just my opinion.
The best content is the content you wanna make. You’ve take the leap a lot of people won’t. Keep it up

I think you belong in this space as a personality. Super relatable with genuine interests. Clear delivery of information and relatable humor is a hard combination to come by, and it’s something that I don’t let go unappreciated. That being said, it does seem like the videos are slipping through the algorithmic cracks. Who knows why, but I wouldn’t beat yourself up over it. I believe it will work out.
If you could down the line, talk about the quality of brake rotors, calipers, and pads. As well as talking about what is worth upgrading versus keeping OEM depending on drivers needs. Keep up the great work you got this.

I like the Sunday drive approach. I think what I like most is that this channel just feels like a normal dude and his friends just doing car stuff. You’re not a massive brand like Donut (no shade I love those guys too), and that’s sort of what I like most. You and the dudes at Gears and Gasoline are some of my favorites to watch. I’ll never own a sick looking basket case of a Ferrari (I’m a McLaren fanboy though and through), but an S2000 track car is something I could see myself building if I didn’t have an evil HOA who gets mad that I park my Honda Passport in the street. All that to say keep doing what you’re doing, I’m all for watching the success you’re doing something I think car culture really needs and I appreciate it.

I followed and watched you from Fitment and thats when i got hooked on this alex martini guy. I then heard that you started your own thing martiniworks and i have been following the podcast as well. You bring such a unique voice to the automotive industry, that i think most of us here can relate. Sure there’s a lot more other creators out there but i personally don’t necessarily relate to them unlike how some of us do to you.

If you read this I want you to know you are doing an amazing job. You are the one of the best role models of our Appleton area in the vehicle scene. Just a guy trying to make our group not have such a bad wrap. You are particularly responsible for me and my family hosting vehicle meets in Little Chute now on our business property. Just like you we want to bring people together for a nice family friendly experience. Just talking to others about what they have done and what they plan on doing is enough. Automotive enthusiast are such a hated on group from some bad apples but not everyone is like that. just like you we are trying to get people to connect in a positive way and make human interactions since so much has gone online. Keep up the good work and maybe one day we’ll see you and your friends join us at our meets.

Hey man, for what its worth, as a guy who is 30 now, I enjoy more laid back channels. Being shouted at and treated like a zoomer gets tiring pretty fast on a lot of other automotive channels. Some of the most influential car channels on youtube are very low key. Don't try to be something you aren't. Embrace who you are, make good stuff, and people will watch.

For the record Linus was a terrific host in his earlier years his voices higher pitch was only an asset and I think its the same for yours. Deep monotone voices put people to sleep.
