  • These come with two 5 foot pieces in each box. Both wrapped around a steel core. Neat idea for a quick portable set up and take down set-up made in USA by the Kaywood Corporation.

Are you running your set on only 2 rail track?

I can assume you might be looking at this video on a smart phone.
The track has a very thin wire down the middle as the center rail on a three rail system. Also the ends that couple together both outside rails are linked together there making in not possible for a 2 rail powered scale type train set. I first saw this type of track at a model train club open house and they had it in their for sale place at the one end. To me it looked like something you could make a roller coaster out of, by the way it was curled up. I found two bokes of it some time later on E-bay and bought them, but only got around to testing them this past week. If you are interested I will sell them two boxes of 2 five foot pieces. The one box was sealed until I opened it last week, the other was already opened. No rust on any of it. Looks like galvanized steal, or tin.
