Congrats! British guys are the best. Love my british man. We have been thrut it all together and in January we will say I do after 4 years of LDR. Our love has conquered time zone differences, a global pandemic, losses in my family due to pandemic and so much more. When love is real it shows. Sadly not all Filipinas are genuine. They go to online dating and use foreigners to ask for money. Some are not just catfish but are real user, goldigger and 100% whore and slut (malandi, putatot, keri keri and home wrecker).. And i have los of those examples. Some even send nude photos and videos in exchange of money . No decency.

Brits are more laid back, that's my impression. My hubby is brit. We were LDR too but we met by only by chance in person, in the student canteen when I was at university, and started of as friends. He wasn't a student. He was travelling with Friends around East Asia including the Philippines. I was having my snack at the university Canteen after a long enrollment cue, then a foreigner, so tall 6 ft plus, young and handsome came chatted me up, it was a shock to me. This young caucasian guy asked me if I can share my table with him haha. Of course, he hit it cool, because he was my type. Our conversation lasted more than hour blah blah blah at the student canteen. Before we parted, he invited me for a dinner out along with his friends he's travelling with. I can't believe it, of course I can't refuse it because I begun to fancy him actually. I was gobsmacked, how could it happen. I like very tall slim guys 6 feet plus ++ he ticked more boxes for me. Then he left the next day and carried on travelling with his friends around the Philippines. Then his friends carried on travelling to Vietnam. He remained in Philippines and liked to see me again. That's when our relationship started. He stayed for more than a month in the Philippines for me, instead of going to Vietnam hehe. He meant to travel to other parts of Asia, but he was stranded in the Philippines. I was a student tied up with my studies and can't do galivanting/ travelling. By the way he was 3 years younger than me...I met him when he was 22, I was 25. He was my toy boy bwahaha. He visits the Philippines every year, sometimes 2x in a year see me. We didn't tie up the knot until 5 years later. Those days, the internet/ cell phones and texting weren't heard of, so we connected by snail mail. He sent me snail mail love letters hehe once to 2x a week or sometimes landline phone calls. We are now nearly hitting the 60 haha soon be Senior Citizens, I'm 3 years ahead of hittng my 60. We have children and one is getting married soon, both are univ grads, got better jobs, our youngest is a research scientist. Time flies by so quick. Part of our retirement plan is living back in the Philippines, but probably hard to do that when we have grand children in the UK. Only God knows.

But.i don't think pinay and British guy will work, base on our experience with, my daughter married a British guy through ldr they got married here, live with us for two years, with my daughter as the one working and her husband just mostly staying in thier room, they got tired of each other esp. my daughter, and separated, the british guy rented a room and my daughter stayed with us, until she decided to go abroad but her (irresponsible) husband continue to stay, till finally he went back to UK, he want to reunite with my daughter but she's not (my daughter) an idiot to have him back, so I hope it will not happen to you or anybody

He still works onboard but I got a better paying job here in the U.K. So I cruise with him and when he has his break that’s the time I go back home to phils with him. I hope your daughter meets someone who will treat her with the love she deserves 🤍

I'm married to a brit , we have 2 children both successful univ grads now and our youngest is a research Scientist on her PhD. I met my hubby by chance in a university canteen, he was 22 and I was 25 when we first met. Now we are getting closer to 60... in few years time we will be Senior Citizens:) It's good to know the person better for a longer period. We didn't tie knot too soon, it took us 5 years LDR to step on the marriage life sentence.

I met my hubby when he was 22 and I was 25, we didn't tie the knot until 5 years later. Fast forward, now we have adult children, one soon to get married, we are now close to the big 60. We will be retiring partly in the Philippines.
