Surprised that you guys are not familiar with the singer Adnan Dhool who sang the OST for Burns road. He is an amazing musician and this specific song is just beautiful. I’m sorry but Aamna sometimes doesn’t give equal treatment to all the shows she is reviewing, it’s not fair to pass quick comments based on personal favourites, you are basically dismissing efforts of everyone involved in the production just because you were not in a mood to watch. Hassan on the other hand is very careful about what he says. Burns Road is a much better watch and story in my opinion than overrated Jaan e Jahan. I think a critic should pass verdicts without being biased.
Aamna and Hassan don’t really know a whole lot of people from the Pakistani industry. I mean in great detail, but Hassan makes up for it with his research. Aamna not so much.
Kinza chose a very different and bold script. She knew this drama wouldn't be getting any jaw dropping views yet she is so devoted to her craft as a young actor that she since a few years, has been experimenting with plenty of characters. So amazed that she doesn't run behind fame. And she is doing complete justice to Husna.
Honestly, I would have never watched a drama like BRKRJ…. just watching because of Hamza. Cinematography is impressive and the director is certainly influenced by Indian movies. It seems more like a movie execution than a drama. Interesting to see Hamza challenging himself in with different character portrayals…. just hoping that it doesn’t end or move like a typical movie. Iqra is undoubtedly very pretty. Raza Samo is equally impressive with his portrayal and credit goes for his impressive performance!
Mostly people are watching this show because of Hamza... Coz after Farjaad role Hamza become an action hero in this drama so that is so interesting to watch this show....

Yes Burns Road.... is turning out to be a good watch which I wasnt expecting after watching its first episode. Shiddat is not good and you are right about the heroine's character. It's a very average watch. KMBK is always a nice simple watch.
Hamza was good, but Iqra wassss amaaazinggggggg in Burns Road. The scenes were filmy, yet so naturally done by iqra. Because if iqra would have been a little exaggerated, the filmy scenes would have been too over the top. But iqra was sooo convincing, so effortless, so believable. Her expressions, shy, nervousness and even the attitude she shows him when he proposes. Nice character Freya.
Asra character demands those childish behaviour so they can show us how he gonna change her from the girl who is hopeless romantic to a girl who is so miserable anmol is doing great with her character her acting is fabulous as asra she giving her best and as she is not your so fav actress that's why you are making every small thing a issue if there was someone else you guys have overlooked

This is for Aamna - 1. I think you and I were the only ones who found Burns Rd boring, inspite of our love for Iqra... Now, you appear to have left the club this week.. and just for that, I will try watching it again : 2-3 more episodes to see if it grows on me! 2. I absolutely see your POV on Beauty not being the paramount thing and yet your POV that Ayeza + Humza in JeJ are beautiful looking couple... The two actors tick all the mandatory boxes that we look upto but "additionally", they form such a good looking couple, that you can't ignore the beauty exuding from the frame!... 3. This is from an old episode, more for Hassan - I saw Aamna interviewing Shahzad Nawaz. She didnt appear nervous at all but subdued... She was aware of the presence of an extremely talented, experienced actor and an achiever!... Only once where I found her slightly nervous/overwhelmed by a persona was her interview with Fawad Khan!...**Sorry Aamna...Still love your style!
KMBK: Didn’t Hassan’s imagination run wild on Penny and Ahmad Zaryab living alone under one roof? 😜😀. This is a very sensitive , mature, bold script where the writer is absolutely clear in what she wants to convey. On one hand we have the narcissist flirt, who uses his position to take advantage of ambitious girls with no talent. On the other the girls fully aware of his character, are using the man for their personal promotion. This is similar to what we hear as the ‘ casting couch’ in showbiz. Husna , for a change is a bold, interesting grey character rarely shown in our dramas. Kinza is doing full justice to the role. Good script/ drama , but for niche audience.

BRKRJ is going phenomenal, agreeing with the fact that it's not a pathbreaking drama yet so amazing, Hamza was so so convincing in his element because ofc Iqra is a superstar indeed but to match her with such confidance was top tier on hamza's part. The confession scene was a cherry on top 🤌🏻 hope it gets better with time.
BRKRJ: the fight scene was done so superbly, just like the movies. However why did the viral video show him in slow motion with all his tashan’s😂, ligting his cigarette.
I am hoping Freeya is a meaty character who actually have depths and shades for understanding the reason why Iqra chose this character. I am liking BRKRJ but as a fan of Iqra, this character should really do justice with her skills.
Shiddat: I agree with Aamna about the OST, I do like it but it def reminds me of Kesariya from Brahmastra by Arijit Singh however I’m still enjoying the it for the most part. I also agree regarding the character of Asra, those same scenes irritated me and I find her annoying as well. I thought it was just me being too harsh but I’m glad someone else had the same vibe. Her character seems to be written as innocent and one foolishly in love, one that doesn’t know better but kinda seeing some red flags. I’m not a Anmol Baloch fan, as I feel - in my opinion, this isn’t being stated as a fact-she’s a little overrated and is kind of the same in her acting level nothing unique however she is better/ more tolerable than others. Her character isn’t written well, her entry was too stretched and when her character said “pyari to hoon, mujhe kyun nahin pasand Karega” she said it innocently but characters like that annoy me. I’m only watching it for Muneeb and it’s still interesting for now and until she’ll be mentally tortured after she marries him. Im enjoying the other characters and actors more, especially Minsa Malik, Shamyl Khan, child actors and Muneeb. Burns Road: I love the OST, it’s Tera Deewana by the band Soch which came out two years ago with the video of Imran Ashraf and Sadia Khan. I was happy they used it for an OST lol. Each to their own.
I liked Hamza’s fight in BRKRJ. It was short but well directed and looked professional as compared to Pak drama standard. Head bhi mara😀. I hope Iqra has a role more than being romantic and a pretty face.

Don't know what attraction Iqra is finding in Mannat, Freeya like characters to actually sign them. I like BRKRJ but an actress like Iara deserve and should do solid characters and better storylines as compared to these.

anmol is pretty but yes she doesnt knw how to act... i have seen her in many dramas..her face is expressionless. in sirf tum hamza was so good in romantic scenes but anmol expressions made those scenes not so good!

Hamza keeps forgetting his Khi accent but still he is better than awful Nepo kid Ahad who unprofessionally left this drama after shooting for few days or may be he was kicked out. Anyways good riddance !!He would've completely ruined it.
KMBK: It is such a delight to watch characters with such complex layers. All the ladies appear to have fallen for the surface charm of Zariyab who is overdue for a reckoning. I would like it to be at the hands of Adeela, the one woman who appears to be the most sincere and is regularly belittled by Mr. Dashing. Looks like Kinza's character is a female equivalent of Zariyab, both leveraging their looks & charm to get anything they want, locked in an ego battle. Husni is just fabulous in her cunning! Penny is also manipulative while allowing herself to be manipulated by Mr. Z as her constant kryptonite. Stunningly slow-cooking plot, I am very eager to know how the mighty shall fall, hopefully not leaving too much bloodshed and many victims in their wake. Adnan S can pull off anything it seems!

Your reviews on Shiddat are completely wrong because girls like Asra truly exist, as I have seen them around me myself, and her character is not at all exaggerated, as you described it! She’s a very lively and an innocent girl who falls in love with Sultan and thinks well of him, but that’s not how he actually is.Lastly, if we talk about Anmol Baloch, she’s portraying Asra in a very beautiful way, I’m loving her acting so much.

highly disagree with amna! first of all pls learn to criticize, the way amna is talking and the words she's using is so mean as if that girl has done something to her. Hassan is so much better at least he doesn't disrespect actors. If you don't like something stop reviewing it, there's no need to talk like an illiterate. and if we talk about the drama girls like asra do exist and i personally know such type of naive and hopeless romantic girls who live in their own fantasy world and does not know much about duniya daari and all. young girls falling for such red flag guys is very common, even though they know something is wrong about them but they get so blind in love that they just ignore the obvious and deep down they think they can change them. She's not at all ott or annoying, ppl will get mad at her because of her naiveness but the character is actually very realistic and anmol is doing a great job.

Burns Road: I love the OST, it’s Tera Deewana by the band Soch which came out two years ago with the video of Imran Ashraf and Sadia Khan. I was happy they used it for an OST lol. Each to their own.

I liked Hamza’s fight in BRKRJ. It was short but well directed and looked professional as compared to Pak drama standard. Head bhi mara😀. I hope Iqra has a role more than being romantic and a pretty face.

Don't know what attraction Iqra is finding in Mannat, Freeya like characters to actually sign them. I like BRKRJ but an actress like Iara deserve and should do solid characters and better storylines as compared to these.

anmol is pretty but yes she doesnt knw how to act... i have seen her in many dramas..her face is expressionless. in sirf tum hamza was so good in romantic scenes but anmol expressions made those scenes not so good!

You should review “Diyar e dil” it’s a very good drama. Maya Ali and Osman Khalid butt are main lead and it is written by “ Farhat Ishtiaq”.

Hamza keeps forgetting his Khi accent but still he is better than awful Nepo kid Ahad who unprofessionally left this drama after shooting for few days or may be he was kicked out. Anyways good riddance !!He would've completely ruined it.

KMBK: It is such a delight to watch characters with such complex layers. All the ladies appear to have fallen for the surface charm of Zariyab who is overdue for a reckoning. I would like it to be at the hands of Adeela, the one woman who appears to be the most sincere and is regularly belittled by Mr. Dashing. Looks like Kinza's character is a female equivalent of Zariyab, both leveraging their looks & charm to get anything they want, locked in an ego battle. Husni is just fabulous in her cunning! Penny is also manipulative while allowing herself to be manipulated by Mr. Z as her constant kryptonite. Stunningly slow-cooking plot, I am very eager to know how the mighty shall fall, hopefully not leaving too much bloodshed and many victims in their wake. Adnan S can pull off anything it seems!

Amna is more authentic with her choice of words and keeps a balance and maybe that's y actors don't contact her much😂.

She’s a very lively and an innocent girl who falls in love with Sultan and thinks well of him, but that’s not how he actually is.Lastly, if we talk about Anmol Baloch, she’s portraying Asra in a very beautiful way, I’m loving her acting so much.

I completely disagree with Amna here ....Shiddat is a nice drama. Anmol & Muneeb both are doing great. Honestly, Asra isn't annoying at all, please understand that teenagers who fall in love for the first-time act in this way... Teenagers' behavior is exactly the same. She is not bewakoof , she is shown bholi & there are people like her. it's not called overacting pls and it's not easy to do such characters..learn to appreciate what is good. And there is nothing wrong with bhaiya , bhabhi and house too pls

Hassan is so much better at least he doesn't disrespect actors. If you don't like something stop reviewing it, there's no need to talk like an illiterate. and if we talk about the drama girls like asra do exist and i personally know such type of naive and hopeless romantic girls who live in their own fantasy world and does not know much about duniya daari and all. young girls falling for such red flag guys is very common, even though they know something is wrong about them but they get so blind in love that they just ignore the obvious and deep down they think they can change them. She's not at all ott or annoying, ppl will get mad at her because of her naiveness but the character is actually very realistic and anmol is doing a great job.
