- Staten Island is known for many things: the ferry, the accent, the Wu-Tang Clan. But this borough of New York City is also home to the greatest wiffle ball tournament on the planet. Every year, teams come from all over to test their talents here on a collection of little league fields. And at the end of a hard-fought weekend of competition, one team rises above the rest as champion in the sport of wiffle ball.

What's the pro ball players name
When I was in college, I read the little piece of cardboard that comes with the ball/bat combo. It tells you how to hold/throw the ball to get the curves, floaters, sinkers, etc. It was STUNNING how much the ball could move in about 30 feet of flight!!!
And that right there is why these guys love to play. It's a lot of the exciting parts of baseball condensed into something less dangerous and less time consuming. Great fun
This is all the summers with my friends put together. So many hours on the park baseball field. Realtionships I’ll have the rest of my life. This was wholesome and hit my heart greatly.

This is so well made, I started watching just to see what it was about, thinking I would stop the video after 30 seconds, but the production of the video captivated my attention so much I left a like and subbed to the channel.
This video is poetic, love coming back to it every now and then.
When I was 12, I was so in love with Wiffle Ball, that I drew up a covered Wiffle Ball stadium in the Middle School field ( which used to be a high school football field ). I always said that if I were to become rich, that I'd buy the land for that field and name it after my grandfather. In fact, my dream was to have that field converted into an entire multi sports area, complete with a wiffle ball field, a 40 yard football field to play flag or tackle football on, and a new basketball court to replace the old outside hoops that we played on.

Great backyard game. A lawnchair was used for the strike zone. Stickball played with a broomstick sized bat and super pinky was just as fun and competitive... as a kid, your friends you played these games with... are your friends for life...
That’s really cool. I can see that growing. You get to compete in a high skill sport, no matter the age or physical condition, and what really helps the game out, only three players! There are lots of trio friendships. With just three players it’s easy to manage. They need to do like pro sports do, and constantly tweak the rules so as to make it the most entertaining to watch from a spectator’s point of view. Then you’ll have something. Can you imagine the playoff game with a big crowd watching? The tension, the stress, will bring out true champions and make it so interesting.
