- This video was fun to edit lol. One of the things I planned to do after moving back from the UK to Ghana is to get the children to learn the Ghanaian culture. Now living here in Ghana the children are learning fast and embracing the culture.

I used to do it for my classmates at SHS during church days. Some of them would tie it with laces so it doesn't come off. Else they will have to come find me 😂

I learn it in secondary school, it is the job of my father to teach me, but he pass away the very first year I went to secondary school, so I had to learn it from friends in school. Good job, Dad. Every Akan kid need to learn this, the next thing is to buy each of them their Kente cloth, that is also in our tradition, when you do, tell them to keep it as their forever possession.

Absolutely! He’s very confident and has a passion for the culture and learning new stuff. He joined me, mum, grandma and my siblings to a funeral at Efiduase near Juaben. His last job was a supervisor at Coop in the UK.
@@FamilyByNature ohk that's great so I guess that's exactly where a portion of the confidence and quality human interrelation is coming from, because as a supervisor u've got to have the skillset and such qualities.... I absolutely love his personality and vibes so as Alicia lol she's seems ready and willing to learn the culture. I pray with compassion and believe in the name of our Lord Jesus that this beautiful family and it's bond continually grow n remain as beautiful as it is and one many will emulate GBU guys❤🙏

Some advice to Dad and Mom. I've noticed in this video David is not included in trying on the cloth..Why? David gets up from the sofa at 5:22 and walks away. I noticed later at 13:47 he's sitting alone at the table in the background. I study human behavior professionally and I can see he doesn't feel included...That's Not Good. Please include David in all activities, focus on giving him more attention and making him feel Special. He is the baby boy, He should've been the first son to try on the cloth.
Thanks for watching and sharing. When you watch the our videos you will see we do include every child if it’s needed. The reason David was not included was because of the size and weight of the cloth. It’s large and heavy because of the type. It’s not meant for David’s height and age. It would have been a disservice to him. If I had a smaller cloth then he could have tried it, but that was not case.
