Endless Normal but If I Don't Get World Record the Run Dies (No-Skips)

- Decided to add a little twist to endless no-skips by making it so that I have to get the world record on every level. If I don't, the run ends and I start over. I am also not allowed to know the world record beforehand. I did a similar challenge on Expert difficulty, but I wanted to see how this same challenge is on Normal. It's actually a lot harder than I expected, but better than Endless Easy.

I would love to see a video where you just optimize “auto” levels
Honestly, that sounds really painful. Especially with the type of auto mario levels he'd have a chance at optimizing. Any of those that a regular player could optimize already have been. He'd have to do those insane ones where you can't even tell what's happening.
^^ agree and with optimizing you’re looking at differences of under 0.5 sec at best bc the auto scroll negates any prog strats which Panga kinda became world famous for in the marioWorld of gaming 🤫😬😅☺️😎
Hi Panga. Just wanted to say that I enjoy these runs. Something new. The suspense and watching you optimize is pretty fun.
When i do normal, invariably the first 3 levels are "read the description to know what to do lol!" and are unbeatable with out it.
Anytime I do any endless run they're literally 90% hot garbage or kaizo

Part of the fun is the risk of not knowing if you did it fast enough. It would work better if he had more lives though.

I'd like to see super expert but you're allowed to look at the record to see how far you can get having to restart if you won't get it. Actually i think that would be good on any difficulty

Maybe its just me, but i would enjoy more if both you and the audience knew the world record beforehand. I dont like when the runs just end because of rng of wr optimization.

When you do these I think you should grind the level until you get wr all the way through or run out of lives.
Whenever Panga says he didn't get WR, he does and when he says he did get WR, he doesn't.

what about a rule in which every time you look at WR, you sacrifice a life? wouldn't mean much with expert and up, but with only 5 lives, giving one to see what time you have to beat I can imagine would be a fun mechanic to it. Great videos as always!

I once lowered the clear rate of a complicated auto level just to lower the clear time from a 1:20 to 18 seconds

I think it would be interesting to know how close you were to the previous WR, maybe you could pause right before touching the goal whenever it's convenient?
@@oscarkesten5512 Not really, if you pause for 1 second and I see 52.576, I'm not going to remember how long the timer was to begin with to do the math, I also have no way of knowing the time this precisely.
I guess you could pause the video, and time it back yourself to know, but then you're the one ruining the suspense for yourself.

Does anyone know how time is calculated with checkpoints? Because I always assumed it's the time from the start to the checkpoint plus the time from the checkpoint to the end. So with two checkpoints the maximum time would be 500+500+500 which is exactly 13 minutes
It's literally just how long you take to beat the level. I've seen some hour long world records before.
@@xelectrix_1863 Yeah, this. It only tracks from the start to the first checkpoint on the run you get there, but after that the clock just keeps running until it maxes out.
