naaah is something else. But definitely both HOME and DeLorra are a standout around the genre. My favorites probably, next to ADMO for sure

Normally I would see a comment like this and say that it's a bit of an exaggeration, but in this case, I agree. I have listened to a lot of different synthwave over the years. There are many others that I think are great, and, for me, I can say without a doubt in my mind that De Lorra is my favourite.

De Lorra was all I listened to when I interned at NASA JPL. Even though I enjoyed the work, I was having a really stressful summer. I’d go back to my dorm in Caltech and put on headphones, blast his music and play chess all night. It took me to another world. This music saved me that summer.
I remember listening to Let Us during my first year of university. Laying in my bed, looking at the sky, it helped me when I was most afraid of the new life I just begun.

my god that slow drip. I went to Hamburg recently and stood at the haven. The salty wind, the birds, the ocean, the empty view. I imagine to this day that humans just pass by while nature conquers back the land and roots out all of mankind by overwhelming it. We are nothing in comparison of the great nothingness that will take us all eventually. We will find our ends as we so often imagined it, in a dreamless sleep.

Hello. Our gen belongs to this timeline and this world. We learn how to be trully happy and satisfied with our life by finding happiness in a small things which makes us happy and makes our world a much, much better place to life, not like in this new millenium ara. 80' and 90' was gold and we lived just for love, peace and respect, and we didn't have much of material things, but we appreciated all we had back then and also learnd how to make fun of a little we had.
Today, we have a lot more but we aren't trully happy like we was before. Stupid materialism change us in a very bad way and we lose almost completely a sense for love, peace and respect.
If I ever got a chance to meet a girl of my life, get married and got kids with her, I'll talk with them about my time when this world was amazing place to live, where wasn't wars on all sides of the planet, where people wasn't poor and hungry and we lived mostly for love and taking care about each other. I know they would not believe me because maybe they'll be born in this timeline where this world is dying more and more day by day, but I have some old family photos as a proof in which were I can show them my childhood and how this world was looked like.
And after we all die someday, I mean all of us who's coming back to listen such a wonderful music like this from our time, I hope that we all will go to some better place and live forever, be happy again and enjoy in that world like we enjoyed in our timeline.
