- If you've decided to click on this video, the chances are you want a difficult save. Well that's perfect, because that's exactly what we’re talking about today, i’ll be sharing the 5 teams that start off in the most difficult, but also most interesting positions for your next Career Mode save.
Sure, statistically the hardest save on FIFA 23 is with Hebei CFFC in China. If that's all you're interested in, then China is the save for you. However, we’ll be talking about leagues that are maybe a bit more interesting to FIFA players, including the Turkish Super Lig, Scottish Premiership and Dutch Eredivisie.

I got sacked by Leece but I was 1st in serie B now I'm at finn harps in the Irish league with hardly any budget I managed al nassr before being appointed as Leece boss al nassr for 2 and a half seasons Leece boss December 2025 -April 2026 now finn harps boss currently 7th In the league

@@gtavpodiumvehicle8165 it's good then in the next season I stayed at harps made some signings mostly frees and won the league and the EA Cup so I accepted the sparta rotterdam job my biggest marquee transfer was 40 year old Manuel neur coming in from Hansi rostock for free having a veteran keeper the Irish players struggle to score.
@@declangaming24 I wish I had the motivation to do a longer career mode. I usually get half way through the second season and get bored.
In Fifa 22 I simulated a British championship, for a project I did. It would go to far to fully explain how it worked, all that’s important is that every British team was part of it at some stage and could have won it. Well in the end not one of the many world class teams but Ross County won in the final against Manchester United, the odds of that happening must have been so low

I've just found this a few days after starting a Winterthur save completely by chance (Randomised the league and club). Within 2 seasons I've got a 4th place finish and one Schweizer Pokal (Swiss FA Cup) and then a 2nd place finish. I signed loads of free agents and some known high-potential players for low prices. Still getting hammered in Europe though, and by the stupid objectives.
Started a Volendam career today, (got some extra time today as my work had to close early due to a power cut :) ), would reccomend any Eredvisie career mode. Wow i just saw he used Volendam without realising, INSANE. I also have an English scout as they have 3 Players from England.
I got the sparta rotterdam job I inherited a squad that finished bottom before I managed them sold a few players I took them to 14th then moved to Bournemouth then left after they got promoted to the prem to sporting.
@@declangaming24 to keep my career mode realistic i got offered the PSV job after guiding Volendam to 9th in the league and the cup final losing on Pens to Ajax. I accepted the job as i feel in real life this would happen.
@@AJYTFC cool my journey so far as rudi Garcia was Al nassr, Leece, finn harps, sparta rotterdam, AFC Bournemouth and sporting in Portugal at sporting I won the Portuguese Cup and got to the Quarter finals of the UCL this season I'm in europa league after being knocked out of the playoff round in the UCL qualifying by Genk.

I had a Ross County save in FIFA 20. 8 UEFA champions league titles and counting. Troy Parrott at 99 ovr was a huge part of it. I am currently managing Millwall in the premier league in the 2032-33 season. So much fun

My only rule to pick a team for career mode is choosing the worst rated team doesn’t matter the league, so I’ve done some saves that you mention 😅

I’m intending to do an SPL save with create-a-club Greenock Morton. It’s not remote, and there are nearly 70 clubs in the Scottish football system within daily commuting distance of Greenock. However, I think it could well be that this means most of the money floating around football goes to other clubs before it gets to Morton. Any decent player who rocks up at Morton and developes into something much better can go elsewhere when the offers come in for them.
I did consider Ross County and Santa Clara when I was looking for a club that was geographically remote, but I went for Tomso, which must be the most northerly club in fifa as it’s the only club inside the arctic circle. That was a fun save, but short lived because I couldn’t get comfortable with each season starting March, while the European season was more normally scheduled. But I also couldn’t personally justify bringing in 85 rated players, so there was great fun in finding players I don’t normally get a chance to sign. The most famous player I signed was Toby Aldeweireld, and he was free.
I think I’ll try the Santa Clara save, it sounds really interesting and fun. I was looking to do a save with South American players only, but I have my doubts about the fun factor of playing in north or South America, largely due to lack of access to better competitions with bigger clubs. Santa Clara seems like the perfect compromise.
Speaking of remote clubs, has anyone tried a save with a remote club? If so, how remote was it? How did you get on with it?
Another one is Gillingham Fc on Base save. The club is agining and has short contracts. They got taken over in december so they signed 10 new players in the jan tansfer window, so make sure you play on the inital squads and not current.
the turkish fifa youtuber GRKN started his career mode playthrough with istanbulspor. he is doing a journeyman career (which is still continuing) but started and sticked with istanbulspor for three seasons.
I've had a lot of fun with my Como save. In real life they have Dennis Wise as the president, so I bring in old Chelsea players, and loan in young players from there as well. They also start off with Fabregas, which is fun.
Kits look great too.
Como are great but when fabregas gets older and declines I would try and sign more older Spanish or veteran players .
C.S Maritimo is in the same situation with Santa Clara, they are both a club located in a small island. Even though this one is more closer to Africa than Santa Clara. They are both fighting in the relegation battle this season too

Not as difficult as Sole of them but I think a Hamburg SV Save is very interesting

One of the ideas that I have and wanted to do for a long time is full 11 with the academy players 94 potential but valued under 200k
that is super unrealistic, unless you dont care if your save is relaistic or not.

Just started a new career with Canada captain Atiba Hutchinson. Retired from playing career at the start of season one and started managing istanbulspor with a view to building a squad with young Canadian and Turkish players.
Very difficult. I want to build the Canadian talent and manage Canada to a World Cup triumph but the Canada player pool on FIFA 23 is very small and the vast majority of players are impossible to sign right now because they’ve just recently joined their club and won’t move again some low rating players have also rejected a loan move lol.
Also, the very low budget at Istanbulspor makes it difficult for me to sign a decent youth scout and get players that way. I’ve managed to sign four players now and I think that I’m just going to have to get through the first season with what I have. With the cash I earn in season one I will hopefully be able to sign a good youth scout and young players next season and push on from there.
Won the Scottish premiership and the confrence league with Ross County on Fifa 22 last year, by just signing all of my local team talents. And i think Tromsø could be an interesting save, as I think they are most northren team on FIFA, and you could try to get them to win the Norwegian league again, and get them into the, Champions or Europa league
I did an FC Dallas save and the only thing I did was pump youth academy players to Europe, so any European club that came I had to sell, it's fun trying to adhere to the MLS rules, but to also build up the US, Mexico, and any other Americas country.
I did another with an MLS club going from Football League 2/German 3rd division going to the champions league final, but still using MLS roster and salary rules. The first 2 divisions are easy to get promoted b/c of the gap in quality, but past that is tough b/c the roster rules will force to rotate the squad and might compromise the the available players. It's fun managing the finances b/c certain players can't be signed due to their salary demands b/c you don't want to lose a DP or TAM spot.
Santa Clara is my hometown club
I find the new fifa’s career mode a bit boring now, I’ve spent over 150 hours on different saves, so now I’m going back to fifa 15, because everything was so in-depth then. You could request funds from the board, you can’t give yourself a higher budget or restart matches, the prize money at the end of the season is a lot lower, everything is just so much harder, but it feels a lot more like a career mode.
Can’t you do a lot of these things even in fifa 23 (except request funds). Anyway I would also love to go back and play with some retired players. Only thing holding me back is the freedom in tactics that is really lacking in older fifas.
@itovenaar6920 a good tactic is for a proper defensive formation is playing a 6-2-1 formation 6 at the back 1 midfielder and 2 attackers is a good strategy attacking is playing a 3-4-3 ,4-4 -2 or 4-3-3 .
As a Volendam local, it was obviously the first team I did a save on, and I definetly got spoiled there. Super fun.
Any Reason for the outside foot shit trait? It's like everyone who isn't a defender 😅 makes me want to do a RTG where I can only sign youth and normal players with the trait

SANTA CLARA is my club and I have a carrer mode for 7 seasons. I won 3 Liga Nos titles, 1 Europa League title, and 2 Champions league Titles. I had a europa league final in against Benfica and Gabriel Sliva is an absolute legend

I think a good idea for a fun career mode would be starting at an efl league 2 club like Salford and progress into the top flight of English and European football
Sounds like good ideas. Cup runs are kinda sad since there are only a few teams and you win it after playing 3 or 4 games. Any guides to make playing these teams enjoyable and possibly realistic?

I've just started a Lyngby save. They're a danish club that have produced talents like Yussuf Poulsen and Emre Mor. IRL they are rock bottom of the Danish superliga
Did the santa clara one. My goal was to beat benfica in the standings and win the national trophy but also win a international trophy (ucl, uecl, conference league). After 6 or 7 seasons I finally did it and even became first in the standings. It was a very fun save to do.

When you are using the GTN in career mode, does it make a diference if you tick the promising attribute when scouting for young players?

Eventually, I got sacked in the 2nd or 3rd season as the club board thought I could win the f0cking league after the first season where I placed in the second half of the table lol

Most of the irish clubs dont have the budget or the aquad to be fair . I wish they would add more leagues though so we can do a proper RTG career . I.d love to take a national league north/south side to european glory . And i.d like to see more information though the seasons so you can look back at your achivements though the years . Biggest win .biggest loss .your season by season transfers .the leagues and cups you have won thoughtout your 15 year career .longest you have been at a club . Etc

The Irish clubs don't have enough money but you can always look for pre contracts or free agents and bring them in I got neur he was 40 and he agreed to £2K a week

Paris FC was tough for me. I tried to knock off the giants of PSG it’s a long process and money is an issue, signing players from France, African nations and Switzerland/Belgium. Youth I also stick to them main French speaking nations if possible

The toughest Career Mode starts: accomplish the objectives assigned to you by the board of directors. If not, you're getting sacked even though you're up in the table
What the hell, I ended a career at Al Batin yesterday not knowing it was one of the toughest saves in career mode, we won the Asian Champions League in season 3.
I bought several players for free, in season 3 they were José Sá, Tanganga, Aning, Trincão & Adama and I bought Wei Shihao and Eriksen, the rest were Saudi players since we can only have 7 foreigners in Saudi Arabia.
Now I went to Ipswich Town FC
It looks like you can have 8 foreigners in the Saudi League

@@declangaming24 in the saudi league you can only have 8 foreigner players so i wanted to oblige to that rule to be a more realistic and fun carrer mode, i bought to Ipswich Town Tanganga, Aning & Trincão for 1€ realease clause, its not realistic but i wanted those players and i couldn't afford them with Ipswich Town.
@@phenomenalsteen4186 realism isn't my thing but it's good to hear people's perspectives I believe that every save should be fun and have a sense of joy when you take smaller teams or other clubs back to glory the league rules are just guides to try to get some authenticity I usually play on loose negotiations so I can get Anyone but on older fifas like 12 or 13 I'm more realistic because the game the transfers where more restrictive older players would join you but younger or established names would say no or we want more money it was more unpredictable. Older players like Nesta, David James, Beckham ect where High overall but declined with David James on my sheffield united save I signed him for free until the end of the season he kept 18 clean sheets at 41 as all my number 1 keeper was injured for the rest of the season and came back towards the end.
@@declangaming24 i started playing FUT last year, so i started playing less carrer mode and was not having fun with the carrer modes i was doing (barça i did one season, with Newcastle and Dortmund just the january transfer window) and that was it, until the day that i randomly choose a team and it was Guangzhou FC, it was fun for 3 seasons and a half but the lack of results was too much for me and i got fired on purpose by giving Wei Shihao (by far the best player in my team) a 1€ clause, and Al Batin was the only team that interested me that offered me a contract, and i had the results and said before, my goal at Ipswich is to win a Premier League title, after maybe i leave for another club
I wanted a hard save so I thought hmm why not make a half star team in the MLS shouldn't be that hard ... bruh I got sacked after 2 years kinda hard to win games with a brand new club of 50 rated players no defense at all and a 40 year old zlatan ibrahimovic as your only scoring option lol safe to say I started a new career mode in the 2nd english division I really want to do a road to glory save

just create your club, put half star, veteran squad, 1 mil budget, only 1 star youth scout and sign only youth players that you find,try to build a winning team , this is the hardest way....good luck

All of these ideas would be so much better if the game wasn't scripted dogshit. It would be nice if for the first time in many many years you could actually play the game and get results based on your actual skill and inputs, rather than a predetermined script that makes games harder or easier than they should be based on the star rating of your team and your opponent.
