Making the COMFIEST DIY knit matching shorts set using $4 Walmart fabric for Spring! Sewing Tutorial

Heyyy!! I'm finally back with another sewing tutorial.In this tutorial I show you how I made my DIY knit shorts and top set for Spring using $4 fabric I found at Walmart!! Yup $4!! This super comfy, super cute knit set is perfect for Spring! In fact, I've been wanting to make myself the perfect DIY shorts loungewear set for the last two spring seasons so I'm so happy I finally got to make my set at such a discounted price! Tools and materials I used:
2 yards of knit fabric
sweater and shorts to use as a pattern guide
matching thread
elastic
sewing machine
serger (not necessary but helpful)
scissors
fabric marker (I use chalk)
measuring tape and/or ruler
