This absolutely warms my ❤️ heart! I am 56 this year and growing up listening to Cass Elliott in all of her many forms had me somewhat in the geek category but this panel here and the discussion totally validates my enthusiasm and I appreciate it immensely! Kudos to the now adult children of Rock and Roll. I feel like we are all kindred spirits.
Oh I just love this so much! I’ve watched it twice. I’m 14 years old and adore everything about the Mamas and the Papas, especially Cass! This was so great to listen to! Thank you
Owen and Moon are fascinating. There are too many distractions & diversions from the the topics near and dear, and this interview is like a gourmet dinner, and we have to get through the 'fast food' here and there. The M&P inspired Fleetwood Mac, and it made sense for the two bands to be installed together at the Hall of Fame. Owen does this book right. It's not a slick piece of a marketing plan, but is her truth, and we can't expect more than a writers' truth. Owen is legit a good steward of a legacy, AND a great artist in her own right.
I need to get a copy. I want to be friends with Owen and Moon! Few years behind these ladies but can totally relate. I grew up to be a hippie inspite of the awkward memories.
I was thinking the same thing. I wish we were friends. I am actually the same exact age AND grew up in the same close proximity of Moon at the same time. We do have mutual friends but I never met her. She seems like so much fun and what a thoughtful woman she is.
As much as I can't stand Ahmet interrupting so much. I really enjoyed this interview. I would have liked to hear more from Moon but all together this was a great interview. I'm now gonna listen on Audible! Thnx so much for the show.
"Super-cool" California rockers make the worst parents, from what I hear. I'm reading Moon's book now and while my parents had their issues, too, I'm so grateful I was raised by THEM instead of some super-cool progressive.
18:28 - Ahmet's awesome here 😅😅😅 The Mugwump language, is that what Cass and Denny were speaking at the end of Dancing in the Streets? It JUST occurs... THIS JUST IN!!!!!!😅😅😅😅
Ha ha hippie parents kids all had to see some junk. No matter who you are the last junk you want to see being the first junk you see is unfortunate. Lol.
This show is a nightmare for HSPs. There's too much going on, visually, auditorily, so much noise, constant interruptions, stories get derailed, yelling, people talking all at once. I tried. Can't. Good luck.
Moon is such a generous soul. She doesn’t try to take the spotlight. Instead she’s supportive She is the light
@jonniangel3764 Amen.❤

This show was such a pleasure. Amen Ahmet.🎉
As a Mama Cass fan, I loved watching this. I'll have to get this book. I love Moon's! I am now subbed! ❤

You have good taste! Why does the new music sound so bad? I hope the younger generation takes us back to real voices someday.
Thanks Everyone - Happy B-day Owen.. BTW - Moon's Cher Impression -- priceless..
What a wonderful episode!!! Thank you for sharing your stories❤ much love to you all
Thank you for bringing us Owen and her story. However, I would love to have heard just Owen and Moon, THAT would be a great conversation!
@@LJCoste110 you’re welcome?
I wanna hear what these women have to say. Make this dude shuttup!
Lol yeah little bro loves his own voice.
@@jessimmersimqueenhaha right? So much ego.

How ironic to see she wanted someone who would never leave her, yet left Owen ❤

ugh, too late to join in LIVE.... WHY??????
Cuz it was on Friday
Live at 5 on Fridays
It's like Cavett saying " Groucho used to say".....
38:26 - Hilarious!
Ahmet is full of it with the Bobby Brown story. Don't believe everything you hear, even if it comes from your dad.
Ahmet needs to learn to keep still and listen to the interviewees answers. His interruptions and attempts to be funny are annoying.
SOOOO annoying! I agree.
Thanks. Waiting to watch your show.
Haha YES. don’t listen to the jealous haters who have nothing interesting to talk about!
Ha ha hippie parents kids all had to see some junk. No matter who you are the last junk you want to see being the first junk you see is unfortunate. Lol.
Ahmet please stop talking
Au contraire, mon ami - Ahmet's really bringing this to life.
Hes the host deadhead.
What is your problem? Ahmet is wonderful the way he interacts and keeps things moving. Not everyone can do that. He’s smart and funny and genuine. 💯
The podcast is mostly a conversation with the host, chaloots...
You've lost the plot and if you'd ever indeed had a grasp at it in the first place.
Ahmet is famous for what? Seems to be a no talent.
