Can "we" fix it? Not really sure. Can "you" fix it? I like those chances more. Nice to see another success. I thought you might've tried to push that ding out while you had the rear plate off. I've had some luch with using the end of a toothbrush, and working around and through the dent in very small circles. Would also be good to see pics to illustrate how you rolled and tucked the copper.
I was thinking of pushing that dent out, but actually forgot... I'll think about that later! Let me recreate that part and I'll add pictures to the blog post!
Hello. Very interesting video. Look, I have just the same "no power" problem with my Sony MZ-R700, do you have a video fixing this MD model? Or any suggestion of what can I do to enjoy this beauty again? I have tons of excellent music (more than 250 MDs ) recorded by me in the divice and nothing in this world make more happy than hear that amazing sound of the MZ-R700 by Sony. Hope yoiu can help me. Thanks alot in advance.
Hello! Yes, I think I have two MZ-R700 videos, actually. Such a fun model, especially in that yellow/gold! In your case, I believe you mentioned (Discord? Reddit?) that you're not getting any power via AC nor battery, correct?
@@TechnicalInitiative Thanks for the quick answer, I used only batteries only but since new not come with AC power cable, as a matter of fact, I will try to buy one just to try connected to the wall. By any chance you know the model or what kind of AC power I shuould looking for?
It's listed here - 3v - www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W000/W0007404M.pdf If you google Sony 3v Minidisc adapter you should find one or an alternative! I will link you a USB version later!
Hello Great thanks for your video I have a problem with a MZ-E60 impossible to Exit the service mode Do you have a solution? Thanks in advance for your answer
Hello @FranckyFresh - to exit the Sony service menus you will need a "pressed" MD (referred to as a CD MD) and a normal one to run tests on. The unit also has to pass those tests to exit the service menu. I did some videos on an MZ-R900 and an MZ-N10 where I had to get in and out of the Service Menu. Do you have a pressed MD?
@TechnicalInitiative Hello and thanks for your quickly answer But I don't have a "Pressed MD" for the moment I bought 3 a some days ago and I hope received them asap I'll going to see your video Mz-R900 and mz-n10 For the Mz-N10 where are you found the Usb adaptor and the battery
i know this product but I think it's too expensive for what is it i saw a new one for 15$ shipping included it's not my priority but I'll take one or two and I'll tell you if it's working correctly or not My priority is Repair one Mz-E60 A new battery for a n10 if it's possible a screen for a RH10
