For context, that star is a Primogem in Genshin Impact, used as a currency to pull for characters, which, in the community headcannon, is worshiped by literally all characters in the game, hence why all of those Genshin Cosplayers surrounded it.
Basically, the primogem ("star" everyone is worshipping) is a currency in Genshin Impact, a chinese game. You use primogems to obtain "fates" that can be used to obtain characters via a gacha system in-game. However, primogems are pretty damn hard to obtain, and it is a constant meme in the community. Hence why everyone is worshipping it.
Next year I’m going to print out in large the best artifact (with overpowered stats) that I can find and stick in on me. And boom. Worshippers. Everywhere. Also fun fact I was part of the worshipping crowd lol.
I’ve never seen power like this before: *pulling all characters with just 1 primogem. Not intertwined fate nor acquaint fate….not 160 primogems, just one….ONE*
