I think for the next update should be more cars added to the games, like a McLaren or Ferrari exotic for like $400,000 and more plate designs.

Not exactly what an actual officer would do.
A high speed chase is very dangerous and could result in harm to the kid in the back and it would be towards the police for doing the job incorrectly. As a police officer, your job is to protect. High speed chases are not protecting the kid. If you PIT him he might crash which results in the kid getting hurt. Shooting the tires may be loud but it wouldn't hurt the kid and you had a perfect chance to do that when he started running. Any other time could also result in harm to the kid (because they may crash).
