11:33 Kat, if you ever get an evening free in Tokyo, and you like live entertainment, go to the 8th floor of the Don Quijote building and see the show at the AKB48 theater. The show is in Japanese, but lots of singing and dancing.
I lived at family mart and 7-11 on my recent trip to Japan. The snacks/food are amazing! The apple juice was a fan favorite of the students that I was chaperoning. I finally had it and fell in love with the flavor. Also I was up so early everyday and have pictures from 0430 that look like they could’ve been taken at noon. Can’t wait to go back!
I love veggies too. I think you can give up meat. Tons of plant foods have protein and if you are eating enough food you will have enough protein. Edamame. Green peas. Legumes, such as garbanzo, kidney, black, pinto or cannellini beans. Lentils. Nutritional yeast. Nuts and nut butter. Quinoa. Seeds. Just a few ❤
Ah, a couple things in Japan, you will not find trash cans and people take a little bag with them, so when they get home or the train station maybe dispose of their trash. The other one is typically they frown on folks eating and or drinking while walking around. They have areas at the family mart, Lawsons or 7/11 for you to eat at. For your future trips. Next time try using Google lens for translating from your phone camera.
Google translate camera will translate japanese into english at the grocery store. Aomori prefecture has wonderful apple juice. You may be able to find it at the grocery stores or at the Tokyo train station shop that has special foods from each prefecture. If you keep going to Tokyo we have to expand your shopping circle.
You asked about coffee preference as I am drinking my cafe con leche (latte) at 5:50 on a Monday. This is the only thing that wakes me up and helps me start my day. ❤
I feel you on the nails I wanted to do mine while sitting ready but couldn't find them this morning. Sat ready and ended up with a trip to BOS. I was like a kid at Christmas. I was so happy it even made the senior mamas and papas happy.
Protein shake with iced coffee and ice. Really good. When you travel home with your food goodies, so no issues as long as they are still sealed? You had mentioned you keep $$ in your bag for tipping van drivers. Do you do the same international (I know tipping is different)? Thanks for being awesome.
Thank you so much for recommending Quai product line. You were absolutely correct about experiencing a dramatic change with your hair. I have been struggling with my hair for the past year. Other than dealing with age, radiation treatments and the medication I am taking, loss of hair, did a real number on my hair. After listening to you talk about Quai hair products, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did, “BIG” difference in my hair. I am back to loving my hair again. Thank you so much for recommending and talking so highly about Quai products. I love watching you, you remind me of me, only you have a lot more energy and enthusiasm than myself. You even got me hooked on egg salad sandwiches. 😊 Keep on doing what your doing, your doing things right.❤
On smart phones, the google app has a translate feature that uses the camera and will put the translated text over the untranslated text. I've used it in a Japanese market across the Hudson river from NYC.
If you and chip like milk bread when you're next in London Warburton's make a milk roll. If chip likes a good whiskey look for penderyn whiskey it's distilled in the Brecon beacons and their whiskey is amazing
I'm sure you've already looked, but alot of phones have a translate function so you can scan the packaging and it should translate it, and you will know the ingredients etc. Enjoy your videos too!
I love how adventurous you are! Like, "I'm not sure what this says, but I'm gonna try it!" Haha. Love it!! Do you ever use the Google live photo translate on your phone? That helped me a little in Korea and China!
Me too hot coffee in the morning even in the summer (in Florida! ha) and love iced later in the day 🙂 thanks for the fun video I enjoy your positive personality.
Look up oxalates in vegetables. Your autoimmune issues might benefit from reducing your oxalate intake. That would mean switching to mostly meat, aka carnivore. Sally K Norton can explain better than I can. She has a TH-cam channel too.
How awesome were the trade board gods to you for this trip! Haneda is a goal for me now, thanks for Solo Travel Japan. As soon as you showed the egg salad sandwich, I knew I'd hit the point where I had to look away. I think I got that near perfect, as soon as you sipped the Oikos it was LOOK AWAY. I hate eggs and came to find while doing the Auto Immune Protocol that it's because I'm ALLERGIC to egg whites! That's a big trigger for my arthritis flares.
I am curious how you fly home with those bottles of drinks. I thought airlines wouldn't let you have that much liquid. I am sure your family will love those gifts. Thank you for another fun video!
Have a question….why are the blinds all pulled down when boarding the plane? Just inquiring as to why they are down. I know I mentioned before how Quae is a real game-changer. I love this line of hair products and loving how my hair. Thank you
It's usually to keep the airplanes cooler, so most of the time in the spring and summer we make an announcement after landing to open the air vents and close the window shades❤️
I love their egg salad sandwich but the 7-11 one is better than the Family Mart I was there last year and going back again this year and looking forward to those egg salad sandwiches but seriously food in Japan no matter where you go is delicious 😋
I about spit my coffee when I saw you doing the ‘Mary Poppins’ bag. I watch your videos all the time, but rarely comment. But your bag trick….lol I had to say something😂😂
Looks like you are back on gluten with all the soy sauce, tempura, egg salad sandwiches, and milk bread. Glad it isn't causing any flare ups for you! That's amazing! I'd be in bed for 3-4 days after eating all that gluten. lol It looked delicious! Really love the nails you are wearing in this video (not the ones you bought, the simple, elegant nails you're wearing). A very classy look, but you have the link in the show notes going to Kiss Sugar Rush, and I don't think the nails you're wearing in this video are the same? If possible, could you comment as to which brand and style they are? Love your Haneda layover videos! Happy belated dog-mama day~
I'm wondering how you should pronounce the product name? The word 'ouai' in Canadian French is a dialect way to say 'oui' or 'yes'. In Canadian French is sounds like 'owaay'.
Just a passing thought, why not use Google translate to be able to translate the items? Just put it on the camera option and aim it at the item and it will translate it on the spot. 🤭🤷♂️🤷♂️
Hey Kat I just wanna share a bit of info, just throwing it out there because I notice you tend to gravitate towards high protein foods sometimes seeming like you seek them out. High protein diets can sometimes (truthfully more often than not) not be ideal for the average person. A body builder or athlete or someone who regularly does intense work outs (like 2+ hours a day, 5+ days a week) benefit from it but if you're not doing this type of physical activity then it may be more harmful than helpful. Protein has to be utilized in the body or else it gets converted to fat, it also leads to intestinal discomfort and not be great for autoimmune problems as well as a number of other smaller issues. Incorporating protein into a diet is great especially in comparison to other nutrients but overconsumption is just as bad as over consuming sugar or fats. It's widely overlooked and not talked about often so many people just simply don't know. Just throwing that out there! Also this Japan layover looked so fun! I love Don Quixote, so many cool little knick knacks
Sorry but we're complete opposites! Meat and potatoes are the sh!t! LOL Since you said a hard 40 is a rule I assume with the overseas trips you can hit that pretty fast?
What I wouldn't give to have hair like yours. I have stick straight, thick, coarse hair that won't hold curl for anything. I keep it cut in a chin length bob because that is the easiest thing to do with it. If I had hair like yours, I'd let my hair grow long (like you have it) and have flowy romantic curls. How anyone prefers straight hair is so unbelievable to me. It's so plain and uninteresting. When I die and come back, I want your hair! Seriously! I don't think Quai is responsible for your hair looking good because you have a lot to work with. You have great hair ♥♥♥
2 videos in 1 week we winning yall! 👨🏻✈️✈️
You were pulling so many things out of that bag like it was a magic trick 😅
A Sunday with kat is a good day
Kat, you make international trips so much fun. Giving us details on places to visit. Thanks for sharing 🌏✈️🥰
Thank you🥰🥰
I love you can take all of that home without checking a bag. You have to be the best packer.

A great Sunday to see your video, makes the day wonderful
Reminded me of Dora's backpack!
You should keep some of the seeds from the tomatoes, then you can grow tomatoes plants from them.
Everything looks so clean. No garbage on the sidewalks. I would love to grocery shop with you in Tokyo. Solid fun.
I love how adventurous you are! Like, "I'm not sure what this says, but I'm gonna try it!" Haha. Love it!! Do you ever use the Google live photo translate on your phone? That helped me a little in Korea and China!
Yes sometimes! Sometimes I get lucky and it translates okay and sometimes it doesn’t😂❤️
Yay another video- which nails are you wearing? I love the neutral color and the natural look!!
I’ve been using Ouai’s thick hair shampoo/conditioner and the body wash and I love them.
Loved the shopping haul…I love seeing what you can get in other countries..I am in the UK!! Take care and have a great week xxx
Ok, next time go to Nihonbashi Takashimaya. Go to the food hall in the basement. Also, Muji and Uniqlo. Expand your shopping circle.
Me too hot coffee in the morning even in the summer (in Florida! ha) and love iced later in the day 🙂 thanks for the fun video I enjoy your positive personality.

LOVE when a good trade works out! 🙏🏻 Hoping to land a Japan layover this summer!
what a wonderful view from your window. day and night. ice coffee for me. unless it's snowing and I'm out in the snow. other wise ice ice baby!
I’m with you on the meat thing. I never really liked it so I gave it up years ago. Veggies and fruits are literally SO delicious 😋
Shopping with a side of work, haha, love it! Looks like a great trip!
i LOVE Mio!!! It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOODDDDD!!!
Your so hilarious Kat. Always enjoy your FA adventures vlogs experiences. Thanks so much. Have fun gardening summertime. Fly/Keep Safe.
Thanks for this vlog. Fly and stay safe. Have an amazing week. Cheers.
I finally got to watching this. I love all those goodies.
Kat, the food looked great 😋. The gifts were amazing buys 😮. I'd ❤ to try that bottle Saki. Have a gday 😁.
I am the same way about the vegetables vs. meat thing. I could give up meat for lack of interest too. Give me the veggies!
I discovered the “Butter Butler” very late at the airport. They’re very delicious ! Grab some while you can!
Marvellous trip Kat. I’ve never been there but the food looks amazing. You must be exhausted when you get home💖🙏✈️
Your hauls in Japan are always da bomb!
If you use google translate on phone you can find out what the things are - this one said minced quail egg cutlet
Love your videos Kat ! I suggest to used google translate app that way you can check the labels of the food since they are in Japanese 😋
Great video! Love all the shopping hauls. I can’t believe how many groceries you pulled out of your black bag! 😂
Hi can you do a video of your favorite nails , glue and how u do them pls
Just love your videos Kat! Your personality is awesome. Have a good week ✌️🐾✈️
I agree with you on the veggies.
LOL - you reminded me of Mary Poppins pulling all of those bottles out of your shopping bag!
Love your food adventures! You buy food not knowing what it is and eat it anyway😅 You really brighten my day.

Love all the products from Quai that you reopened
Ouai or Factor ad in every vlog😂.
My coffee depends on the weather. Hot humid weather needs iced coffee. Cold snowy weather means hot coffee.
I love ❤️ iced coffee ( mocha).❤❤❤❤
Wow, Kat, so interesting! ✈✈
Blessed pentecost 🌞 sunday. Love the hotel room kat u make it look so easy shopping in Tokyo
Does anyone remember what nails she uses? I can't seem to find the video where she talks about it.
Have you tried the green tea KitKat? Soooo good!
I always enjoy your vlogs.
Do you fly on a 777 or 787 for international normally?
I am wondering how you get so many heavy items home? Do you have extra weight limits allowed as you are crew?
What’s your favorite thing about being a flight attendant?
Where did you pack all those bottles? You checked a bag at airport?
Love your vlog Kat ❤
Does it work for “Baby Bunny Fine Hair”
Makeup bag I. Your links currently not available!!
How on earth did you get all those liquids home? Fun video!
Your bag when you go shopping in Japan always looks like clowns pouring out of a clown car. So many things fit in there!! 😄🤡
Haha I always feel like Mary Poppins😂😂
@@KatNesbitt the only thing missing is the umbrella to help you glide up in the sky
I love veggies!!!
So can you take all the liquid on the plane because you're a flight attendant?

I am back on reserve starting June 1st. I was actually supposed to be on it in May but I held it off lol
