To ensure strict enforcement of lane driving on the national highways, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Thursday headed a team of police officials, stopped heavy vehicles violating lane norms, and issued challans on the Ambala-Delhi National Highway near Mohra village.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Driving heavy vehicles on the right side is actually safer for all. If you want to implement this rule, make every four lane highway access controlled.

This must be implemented through out India. Also slow drivers must also occupy left most lane irrespective of the category of vehicle. All these things must be taught at the time of issuing licenses. Death penalty must be given to all those drivers who drive against the flow of traffic. Also authorities must ensure that driving licenses are not sold but issued to deserved drivers.
thank god, somebody is doing this. Heavy vehicles lane driving is very imp. Lane driving of all vehicles in general is very imp. High time we implement this PAN country now. Atleast on highways.

The main problem driving in the slowest left lane is there are all sorts of slow vehicles like 2 wheelers, auto rickshaw 🛺, causing obstructions and road hazards. I have even seen vehicles driving on the wrong side on highways in the left lane!! These are serious accident reasons. Driving a loaded truck on left lane is almost impossible in Indian roads. Mr. Ignorant minister, first address the root cause. Restrict highway use of slow 2 wheelers and 3 wheelers and force them to use service roads. If service roads are not there, build them first. Clearly indicate traffic lane signs boards . Then enforce your laws.

Right initiative taken by minister .Heavy vehicles driving in right lane is threat to car drivers and fast moving vehicles.Heavy vehicles must be fined for driving in overtaking lane.

Why only heavy vehicles? I see everyday many cars breaking almost every traffic norm. Actually heavy vehicle drivers seem to be following the traffic rules more than cars,three and two wheelers.

Toll tax ,Road tax paid by heavy vehicles are much more than any other vehicles so they must use the right lane as they are heavy vehicles
Heavy vehicles are supposed to ply in the leftmost lane because of their relatively slow speed. These vehicles cause traffic when they are in right or middle lanes of traffic

As per your words, airbuses give much more tax then, they must use highways

tralla ko cross karne ke liye distence banana padega Jo kafi jyada hota hai wapis heavy lane me jane ke liye
lekin police wale ne 2000/- ka chalan kat diya
iska matlab tralla ko tracter ke piche hi chalna chahiye
