It honestly looks better than Journey to Atlantis to me, it has the coaster twisty track section and the drop back to back so it's a shorter and better paced ride overall, I'd take that over a longer themed experience like JTA. Plus it has an airtime hill, that's absolutely fantastic to have on something like this.
A Mack Water Coaster was my dream choice to replace Wicked Twister. I love its location on the beach and near Lake Erie. There could have been a dark ride element in the queue that shares a tale about a Lake Erie Monster or something before you board and a nice dive that makes the rider feel like they are plunging in to get the creature. The winds of the Lake however could have been bad as they could shut the ride down, however, maybe a Mack Water Coster wouldn't even have to worry about wind being a factor in the ride ops.....and in that could be an enhancement on the journey. All I know is I would name this ride "Lakekeeper"
I loved that drop at Poseidon and at Thusenfryds water coaster. The airtime is awesome, not like at Atlánticas super splash, where you feel nothing even though it is huge
2:25 This part is from Europapark and not Djurs Sommerland. Or am i wrong? There is the Pegasus Sign from the kiddy coaster and it even runs in the background. :D

I wish we had water coaster near us. My home park is cedar point with mi adventure about the same difrence and the onlything we have close is snake river falls.
You did mispronounce the name. You got the first part ot the name right, but the "øen" is pronounced by making a weird danish sound. I cant really describe it because no english word i can think of makes that sound. Anyways, great review, and i wish i had seen this review before riding, because my feet got soaked.

I wouldn't mind seeing a water coaster there, especially after Shoot the Rapids failed.
