La crosse police are very professional but please remember the police will be the ones coming into your homes violating your rights if either side gets to much power and you’re on the “wrong” side.
He could be a better handler tho, he needs to be a little more attentive. that dog sounds so bad, her breathing is terribly labored. he needs to get like a rope, maybe paracord body harness or something for her, for the summer. I just felt bad for the dog choking herself.
I live in Wisconsin and am shocked at how many of these end up with absolutely no jail time. I have started looking up all of them on CCAP, and some have two pages of cases and no jail time. It’s disgusting, LaCrosse Co. seems especially bad with this.
Yea, I was thinking to myself at first that his sentence actually seemed fair, but then I thought about the high speed chase and that alone should be treated extremely harshly.
Awesome cop, very professional and rational. Deciding to willingly terminate a pursuit for safety is so nice to see. wish more cops like that were around the ASP.
Terminating a chase isn't likely to make a crook suddenly slow down and drive safely. For all we know, they could crash into anyone just a few blocks down even after they're no longer being pursued. Letting them go also leaves them the opportunity to do other bad stuff to innocent people, especially if they're a convicted felon. The risk of becoming a fruitless effort, not to mention a significant negligence in protecting the innocent by nitpicking when to catch a criminal, is why I don't advocate for terminating any pursuit. I understand why it can be seen as the officers' responsibility if a perp crashes into someone during a pursuit, but you have to understand that criminals never live by our moral codes. They don't care about anyone's life and safety. If they crash, it is but an inconvenience in their effort to elude the law, and they only feel sorry for themselves. They do whatever they please, even at the cost of others. Those are perfect reasons why they have to be taken off the streets ASAP before they do even more damage.
@@Ragehunger yes when cops deactivate criminals don’t just sit around speeding for the rest of their life that doesn’t make any sense, it still lowers the risk the general population around. someone getting chased for a non violent offense shouldn’t be paraded around with 5 police cars all zipping through highly trafficked areas. None of that logic makes any sense because in the most basic math terms possible, 1 speeding car is less dangerous than 4 speeding cars.
@@vuittonvisions2271 You clearly didn't read anything beyond my first few sentences. A fleeing suspect should always be expected to have sinister reasons for it, and them fleeing should suggest that they can do other bad things even when cops aren't breathing down their necks. Expecting them to suddenly obey laws when not in hot pursuit is naive and shows that you expect them to have morals. You can run math and statistics all you like, but anything that looks good on paper doesn't translate into reality the way you want it to. If anything, it gives bad people more room to do evil, and that has been proven countless times by the strict gun laws that was also implemented through similar non-contextual statistics that you're defending your case with. That sure didn't keep guns out of the hands of criminals, now did it? The only way for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. It may be a tired saying, but it's said because it's true in every possible aspect.

for real. a high speed chase and all that and all you get is 40 days and everything else thrown out.
I live in Wisconsin and am shocked at how many of these end up with absolutely no jail time. I have started looking up all of them on CCAP, and some have two pages of cases and no jail time. It’s disgusting, LaCrosse Co. seems especially bad with this.

Then I got caught with weed, got 4 months for that, can you imagine going to jail for more time than a high speed chase
