I would venture to point out that you have a poor earth on your combination as the brake lights dim with each flash of the indicators. I have noticed this on many of the 13pin plug systems, we only use two 7pin plugs as this provides for two independent earth returns.
I believe it’s 7 ton. As the MGW of a vehicle that can be driven on an ordinary b license is 3.5 ton, and I believe there is no vehicle in that range with a towing capacity over 3.5 ton. Although I’ve tried to get a straight answer out of the DVSA and just get told it depends on the vehicle.
@@GavinsDaddy007 Old comments I know, but I think it's a holdover from older vehicles before the new standards came in? that's why pre 1997 have 8.25t max (So a 7.5t vehicle with a 750kg trailer, or something that adds to this) meaning they could do something like a 5t van with a larger trailer to get to 8.25t. That's why the "grandfather" rights C1+E has a limitation on it.

Hi, I wanted to know the total mam of b+e? I've been told 7 ton and 8.250 ton? Gov website says 7?
