We currently only have one short term rental. But I would like to use another company to list our STR. We currently only use Airbnb. Which one would you suggest?
I am not sure about the unpaid reservation but the guest expectation is very true what you said. Guests expected to have the same quality as hotel for a much lower price :)
I'm looking for alternatives to Airbnb at the moment, due to not having a permit yet to do STR, I'm working on that with the city. In the meantime, I'm looking to try another site I could make some money on. I was thinking of bookings.. if you have any thoughts let me know. I can't set the home up as a business & get homestead exemption. It is my primary residence. I also have a mortgage on it. It's a duplex.
You can try and take a look at other OTAs (online travel agencies) other than Airbnb like VRBO, booking.com, expedia, etc. And see what works best for you :) Good luck!
Stay well clear it's an awful company to do business with, problems caused by them are completely ignored and they pursue you for money, it got so bad that from an initial problem they dealt with it so badly that within five days I had terminated my partner contract. You've been warned don't partner with them.
Hi, sorry about your experience! Try contacting them via Extranet or their hotline, which is usually available 24/7 for support. You can Google your country and Booking.com's hotline. Hope that helps!
yoooo dude! didn't know you had a TH-cam - awesome info and vid! Booking has been pretty bad - multiple scam attempts and guests not paying... I think we give this another month to make a final decision... I am working on automated solutions. @Anatru and i are managing 18 listings in MDE right now. c u soon!

@@ShortTermRentalRiches Thank you. I got the permit in June.
Prob a noob question, how do you manage for someone to tidy the place up after each stay?
Hi, sorry for the late response! We have our own housekeeping team that's in charge of tidying up our units after each reservation.
Thank you for giving a lot good info
Glad it was helpful!
