    Great broadcast gentlemen! Good to see Tom Carter giving us some insight-haven’t seen Tom for awhile. I was likely one of his greatest challenges as an instructor. I learned allot from him & surely tried his patience time or two. Shout out to all the pro’s who dedicate some time to instruct those of us who desire improvements in our game. Keep up the good work!

    What an excellent show. Walter is going strong as normal in spite of Father Time. I just love Brad Angelo's release and balance at the foul line, such a great bowler. Same as for Chris Barnes. Never heard of Jon Rakoski but based on what I saw on the first match, you can tell he is one hell of a bowler without a PBA card. If he gets a PBA card, he would be dangerous and a threat on the tour. And Dino Castillo bowling does not do anything for me. He can't keep his balance and post at the foul line. Anyhow, looking forward to the PBA50 future shows.

    They both not doing the modern release. Lesson from 80's, 90's, etc, old school bowling release, lift style still works.

    • @Jesusfanatic0711
      @Jesusfanatic0711 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ummm modern release is definitely in affect here just because u don’t see them looping the lane and finishing with their arms to the left of their face doesn’t mean they aren’t rolling it off their hands. Which is what the modern release is just adjusting pitches to let the ball roll off ur hand. First match is super ultra clear that’s what they are doing. In fact brad has a Facebook channel and he will straight up tell you in his weekly videos what he’s doing and it’s not any older teachings with the pitches being forward pitches both ways to get on it like mark Roth did. It’s reverse in the fingers and Barnes even went reverse in fingers and thumb to clear the ball easier. If ya don’t believe me after this go look at how high and pronounced mark Roth has to “hit” the ball to get it to react versus the guys here who just let the ball go off their hand.

    • @odellus
      @odellus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jesusfanatic0711 the most important aspect of the 'modern release' is keeping your hand inside the ball and rolling it up the back, creating maximum revs with minimum effort. the only people that aren't completely on the side of the ball in this show are barnes and castillo.

    • @Jesusfanatic0711
      @Jesusfanatic0711 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@odellus that’s just hand position, they are still rolling the ball off their hand….. they aren’t “lifting” the ball like the old days that’s the point cmon man pros on pba tour use all of these hand positions as well just go watch some release videos.

    • @dikualamdinabale5612
      @dikualamdinabale5612 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to assume that they are not doing modern release due to the height of loft, I've seen others like Kyle & Marshall you cannot hear the ball drop.

    • @Jesusfanatic0711
      @Jesusfanatic0711 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dikualamdinabale5612 it’s because they aren’t getting low and using speed to get the ball down lane. I get what ur saying but the more upright u finish the more loft you’ll have. Kinda like when they have to lost the gutter because the lanes are burned up.

    Love your work Mike, and great to see Tom Carter on board in the commentary. Unfortunately 720p is just never going too cut it... viewers could rightfully assume that BowlTV is just not serious. It's an embarrassment to this great game.
    Coming here after watching your latest Vlog in 4K is just the biggest disappointment ever. BowlTV/FloBowling etc... it's all the same blurry mess, every single broadcast. Trot out all the standard excuses until the cows come home, but nobody should be expected to $$$ SUBSCRIBE to a service this poor in 2022.

      Totally agree. Cancelled my annual subscriptions to BowlTV and FloBowling this year as well for those basic reasons. Not only is the video quality of most events so poor, but viewers have no easy access to things like updated leader-boards, purse breakdowns, and other stats. Sometimes those things are available, but difficult to locate anyhow.
