My 165# Dane was a little put off by the sound but I followed your advice and moved it as far away as I could and he did great. Smells SOOOO much better and not a big mess to deal with :)
What about their faces and bottoms?. I have two Westies and these bits always need washing. I don't think the Bark Bath tool would be suitable for those areas.

It might work better if the nozzle is moved much more slowly on the dog's body, allowing the water/shampoo to touch the fur and work.
