Great video Cody! My machine should be to me by eow!!!! This was great for people like me. I'm the kind of person that doesn't want to learn my machine by reading the manual starting from page 1, exercise 1 - I like to see how intuitive it is. Add to that - I know what I want to do so how about just getting straight to that. Threading the needle is not something I want to spend time on.
Hi Cody from Australia. Oh I love the new interface of the machine with the wording and ease of use. I love my 790+ which I upgraded from firstly- 780 at a cost! Originally didn’t like the look of this machine… but it has great advantages for embroidery for sure. Just the upgrade cost would kill me. Question please. Do the old hoops like the clamp Hoop and the Maxi hoop I have bought; fit this new machine? And do all the feet I have fit also?
The one I am using is over kill because it has many other types of ports. It’s one we use for our laptops because we need a HDMI port. But I am sure just a regular usb hub that had multiple just use ports will work perfectly.
After watching your great video, I ordered a USB-C data hub to use in the USB-C port, so I could use a mouse in the USB-A port. My machine isn't seeing USB sticks on that hub, not seeing hub at all. I can see the two-ended stick that came with the machine, so the machine USB C port is good. Also, can see the hub on my laptop, so the hub is good. Wish I could figure out why machine can't see it. I have the Anker USB-C Data hub (3-series, 4-in-1 5GBPS). Any thoughts? Would a different hub be a better choice?
This is a nice video about this machine. But I have a question- Why you try to get to the 4th floor without reaching the stairs or elevator first? Why you don't start the video by indicating the BASIC Differences that exist between this machine and the B 830/880 machines, specially in the Threading and Bobbin Loading departments, and the different hoops, old and new, that can be used by the machine? That is more important for me, an owner of a B830 for several years, at this moment, than the advanced features. Those things are something that could help me to decide to upgrade to this machine, or to get the PFAFF ICON 2 or maybe the Brother XP-3 or Baby Lock Solaris instead. But thanks for your video anyways.......
He clearly stated this video was his playing around and some things he liked so far. Additionally, how many compare videos should he do? All the machines / some of the machines / half? I mean come one!
Cody is absolutely fabulous about giving us wonderful, useful information, at no time did he say it was a comparison video. Thanks again Cody for your thoughts on the 990, much appreciated 🦋

Hi, I think that was hard to watch, love you normally. The angle of the screen was the problem, seeing it still had its protective cover on, plus the screen glare did not help. The lighting was very bright, it was too much. I think it all got a little confusing, comparing the other machines against the B990 features. Think it was a little rushed. Look forward to your next video.
Wow that screen 🫢😁😁😁
I just got my machine . I was so excited to see that you have a video about the B990 . I love your videos !
Cody, love your shirts that you make.
What pattern do you use and where do you get your pattern
Have you made a video on how to sew it.
Always good information. You are my “go to” channel for Bernina. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your finds.
Great video, Cody. It was easy to follow and looking forward to your future videos.

Getting yours by the end of the week? Oh how exciting! What’s your VIP pre order number?
@@GiselaSanchez-f8u 188 if that even means much at this point
Thanks for doing this video-it looks like it will be so much easier to do simple changes without having to bounce back and forth to the software!
Really great preview! Just what we needed! Thanks!
Some of the smallest features are some of the best, just because they’re easier to find/alter! Thanks for your thoughts.
Thanks so much!
Cody, is the Sewing gifting for September really sponsored y’all? Just making sure!🥰
Great information! Thank you!

Yes, you can use the same hoops and feet
love this
Stupid curiosity question here... what is the tiny dot to the right of the screen between the width/length knobs??
You mentioned a hub for usb, what one are you using?

Is there anywhere I can message you guys about an issue I've been having with my Bernina B500

Never happy. you might need to look at a comparison video. He clearly stated this was his playing around and some things he liked so far.
No, not confusing at all! Very easy to watch. Definitely looking forward to seeing many more videos 🦋
