Thanks! I used pretty basic equipment. A GoPro 11 with video lights and the Inon (UFL-G140 SD) semi-fisheye conversion lens. But with good conditions (enough light and visibility) that gives pretty nice results after color correction (I used Davinci Resolve).
@@dhruvsethi1811 There is no minimum. And all the dives we did where pretty easy, but: as some of the dives are steep wall dives, in (coral reef) caverns and/ or close to pristine corals decent trim and buoyancy control is important. If you are a beginner, struggling with trim and buoyancy the other villages (Nakari and Shagra) are (in my opinion) a better option.
@@ReefsCavesWrecks Cool, thanks for the reply ! I was asking because I was reading on some other blog that a prerequisite for diving at Elphinstone, which I believe is closer to Shagra, you need 50 dives prior, which seemed absurd. Thanks for the reply and the awesome video.
@@dhruvsethi1811 Yes, for Elphinstone that is true. Maybe because of the sharks and (sometimes) strong currents. And some of the dives at Elphinstone, when looking for big stuff (like Longimanus), are done in mid water (a bit away from the reef) with no visual reference nearby. But Elphinstone (close to Shagra indeed) is an exception. For most of the Red Sea Diving Safari dive sites there is no minimum. So lots of opportunities, also for beginners :)
Яка краса! Як же я скучив за Єгиптом...

Fantastic grading of footage from the gopro 11! Are the dolphins regularly spotted?
Thanks! And yes, most days you will see dolphins at Sataya dolphin reef
Congrats, one of the best diving videos I’ve ever seen about Red Sea! What camera did you use? The quality of the image is mind blowing!
