This is a really bad argument, there are so many times in the game where Nathan could have taken a different route when seeing a place where filled with enemies, there is not even a stealth option which could have mediated this, no there is a reason why people always mention the so called "ludo narrative dissonance" where something feels off.

Can't agree more. It felt like watching the Indiana Jones trilogy as a kid for the first time. Except this time the fourth one wasn't a major let down!

just for the record, the "zombie" things were spanish conquistadors, not nazis. or at least the ones nate has to fight weren't, because the one on the projector was a nazi that turned into one of them.
I finished it tonight but Nate says they are the conquistadors but he has no hard evidence for it some of them could feasibly be the Nazis hey did all kinds of weird experiments.

Your critique of Drake's Fortune's writing is really misguided. You criticise the game for having all these cliche, pulpy elements when that is exactly the point of the game. It's an homage to Indiana Jones and those old pulpy adventure films that inspired it and it recreates that experience PERFECTLY. They proved they could do it. It would be like a spy game that seeks to recreate old James Bond films having a scene where the hero is left in an easily escapable trap by the villain who then assumes he died being criticised for being cliche. Like... Yeah. That's the point.
I know right. It is like criticizing mission impossible for being "unrealistic" and "over the top", when that is exactly what they are going for. They do not take themselves seriously, and that is really important to understand while critiquing games and movies like this. If they are self aware about using cliches, criticizing them for using cliches seems kinda meaningless
I remember first playing the demo on PS3 back in the day and being so amazed at how Drake’s shirt animated with his movements and especially how his running animation would adapt to his situation, when in a shoot out his stance would drastically change to be more alert and he would sprint automatically not just jog. Little things that we take for granted now but was just amazing to see and notice for the first time.
Not to mention he got wet in water then slowly dried. Each uncharted game really was at the forefront of gaming. U1 = character movements, U2 = set design, fire, water. U3 took each of those up to 11, and then U4 was basically we already know it all, lets make the best set designs possible.
Some of the songs are slightly different between the two versions, and I'm actually more partial to the PS3 version's soundtrack, so I usually play that one.
Luke with the Arkham games: “I’m playing on the hardest difficulty because it’s how the developers intended it” Luke, you really don’t want to play crushing or brutal difficulty in uncharted

I almost agree with you about Uncharted 4. It's an amazing game, but when our much loved history buff/treasure hunters appallingly pronounce Mughal like "Muggle" I can feel my soul being ripped from my chest.
Canadish How exactly, the only thing that is similar to u2 is the opening of the game being late in the actual game, like in u2 with being in a derailed train
@@aashrithmadagiri6711 I think a major issue with 1 is that it's one story, very straight and narrow with little deviation. And so much relies on the curse and the descendants that if you don't like zombies in dark alleyways, the story kinda feels empty. Whilst uncharted 4 started small and became this epic that went from going to Scotland, to Madagascar, to a pirate colony and jungles.

Anyone who puts this game above a 6/10 is really kidding themselves. They are either letting later games effect their view of it, have a nostalgic attachment to it or are PS fans that just have a bias towards PS franchises. I would give it a 5/10 personally. Even for the time, it's nothing special outside of the graphics. Just finished it myself and I have to say, coming from TLOU+2, this game is absolute garbage, they have come a long way.
5. Drake's Fortune (horrible game even at the time imo) 4. Uncharted 3 (awesome setpieces, average story with tons of plot holes) 3. Lost Legacy (Chloe and Nadine make a great team, great scenery, my favorite puzzles and locations in the series, highly underrated) 2. Uncharted 2 (no explanation needed) 1. Uncharted 4 (no explanation needed)
My problem with A Thieves End is that it didn't have enough of a variety of locations like in 2 and 3. The final act on the island is too long and takes up a large chunk of the game. Also, the women empowerment in the writing is a little too preachy. How does a woman beat up Nathan Drake (who has bested hundreds if not thousands of mercenaries) and his brother at the same time? Come on now.
*1.* 4- A Thief's End (best story, best locations, best characters, especially Rafe, And best gameplay along with Lost Legacy) *2.* 3- Drake's Deception (the same as 4 but slightly worse) *3.* Lost Legacy (most relaxing, enjoyable character development and 2nd best villan) *4.* 2- Among Thief's (good story and puzzles but very frustrating at times) *5.* Drake's Fortune (speaks for itself)
How did not talk about how Nathan reacts when he realises Sir Francis Drake died alone without any treasure, it’s a poignant moment probs one the most memorable in this game
I think that moment is trumped when he realized the real reason Francis Drake was there. (to save the world basically.) So I think its a short lived moment.
I got to say. As someone who played this when it first came out, it was revolutionary for me atleast. The graphics were the best, the story amazing and the cover shooting was pretty common due to mass effect and gears of war.
I just played through all the uncharted games last year and it’s hard to believe that Drakes Fortune came out in 2007 this game looks incredible and gameplay really holds up on PS4 can’t wait for the rest of these critiques! Especially Uncharted 4 that game is a masterpiece.
I platinumed the game again on the remaster, and man has it aged, but I love how it became a foundation for Naughty Dog to build off of. Also, those new bonus trophies with that new Brutal mode and speedrun trial, what the hell?! Thank God I learned how to use tweaks in that mode because holy crap, I wanted to die! Anyway, I like it, but 2 was my first Uncharted.
@@ivostefanoff4946 Have to use the tweaks, even so, if you aren't careful, it won't make a difference, one shot, dead.... And I *NEVER* want to do it again lol
You are actually wrong, a notebook saved a soldiers life who was shot with a gun, he held it in his pocket on the left side of his chest, he would have died if the small notebook wasn't there. I cannot prove it but I saw it in a Yugoslav war museum in Croatia.
I'm one of the odd ducks who enjoyed part 3 the most. For whatever reason, the way everyone talks about and gushes over part 2, it was 3 that did thay for me. Maybe it was dying so many times during the tank attack on the village in part 2 that killed that game for me. But with 3 - getting to see the relationship with Sully start, the awesome chase scenes, the crazy cliffhanger moments - I feel like it built on 2 in every possible way.
I loved 3 the most until I played 4 but really because it was the first one that I played. I guess I'll have to replay the series to know where I stand on it now
Most of those "zombies" are spaniards, atleast 1 German turned. Did you know that if you look at the forest in jungle parts or when you are in the monastery, you can see many different types of builts made by the descendants like bones. The game was trying to tell you this entire time that there was something weird happening on this island.
If you think Uncharted's story is not plausible or logical, give the Yakuza series a try. Now THAT is some amazingly ridiculous writing where character emotion rules over logic pretty much every time. Drake's Fortune tries really hard to justify it's wilder elements and make them plausible and I feel it succeeds a lot more than you give it credit for. (seriously, play Yakuza! It's wild, it's dumb and it's 100% brilliant)
I wish people wouldn't throw ludonarrative dissonance around so much. It doesn't add to a critique when you don't understand what the term really means.
It’s just a pretentious way of saying something that it might not actually mean Elitists like saying that it means what it did with that dude that critiqued Bioshock, meaning that it will rarely ever mean the same thing again I think people should just not say it because it makes them sound like a pompous tool
Even if you're not a professional speedrunner, I think this game is most fun when you try to speed through as fast as you can and this game is just unintentionally hilarious and even more so when you play as fast as possible that's what I enjoy about it
Genuinely shocked how few subscribers you have for the level of quality of the content you put out. Absolutely phenomenal work as usual Luke! Keen to see you cover the rest of the series!
Recently played through all of them in lockdown. The first one very much disappointed me, Among Thieves and A Thief's End very much pleasantly surprised me again. My favourite Uncharted part ever might be in Libertalia, especially finding the letters in the mansions and, in the end, the large 'dinner room'. Amazing.
ND was trying to appeal to Indiana Jones adventure lovers, young through old. Not the "mature" audiences specifically. The first game has massive similarities to Raiders of the Lost Ark. They also had a hard time grasping development for the PS3 which is why Uncharted 2 is so much better. Love the video btw.
I got hooked to the first game and how real the voice actors made it. It didn’t seem like they were reading off a script it sounded fluid and natural and in uncharted 2 I love that the characters actions and voices were in sync.
I only just recently competed the first game four times in a row followed by the sequel. Such a classic game and is so much *fun!* It also helped me cope while my dog, Merlin was ill and then passed away soon after. 💕
I am not biased towards you because I’m not currently a follower, so, I can say this with utmost honesty: this “critique” is just lame. Why in the world are you criticizing a game made more than a decade ago, and putting it up to the standards of today’s industry? Like, fine, let me go ahead and criticize freaking Pac-Man, for not having more variety in enemies, and being so repetitive, because Skyrim has way more things going on. Come on.
Well considering that the sequel that came out only two years later still holds up, I don't think time is an excuse. I mean bioshock and halo 3 came out the same year, games that are still held to the same standard. Plus he said that there were reviews bashing the mechanics back then.
Well if he made a critique based on what he would've felt about the game 10 years ago it wouldn't make more sense? It's because we live in the present. If someone wants to try the game he would be better informed with the most recent review
Get reinforcments? What LOL the plane is literally about to come down. Jumping out of the plane was the only option they had...The only dumb thing Nate did was send Elena out by herself and he just sat there and he even said "What am I doing?!?!" Which made me laugh pretty hard lol
I agree with most of what you said, and even though I was a little but hurt considering this was the first ps3 games I ever played, upon comparing them to the later entries it all stands up. However, I do feel like a lot of these clichés or grievances could be applied to any action game or movie -like you argued- but I kinda think that’s the point, uncharted was always, I feel, intended to be a satire or at least homage to Indiana Jones and tomb raider, over the top, but with loveable charactets to ground it. I always was able to suspend my disbelief and I don’t think it’s over-the-top-ness is a weakness.
I remember when this demo came out, it blew me away. I played the demo for months until I finally got the game for Christmas. The game definitely has its flaws but it was a lot of fun.
The Uncharted series has been an absolute pleasure to play. I've been recording them for my channel, and now currently up to Uncharted 3. I've thoroughly loved and been lost in the world of Nathan Drake, and I only wish I'd discovered the game sooner. I would love to know if anyone has any recommendations for "similar" games to this, as I will be so sad to come to an end after I've finished uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy.
This video was fantastic and very funny! Perfect duration as well Luke. I think as much as I love the long style videos, shorter videos like these are a bit easier to take in for a new, growing audience.
Best game experience ever - what else do we need in a game apart from having some fun, great story and great gameplay . Not sure what the critique trying to say ... confused as F*ck
Bearded Dragons can live up to 12 years, so i think around 9 or 10 he will be in his 60's in bearded dragon years. So you can expect Villentretenmerth to try and get Luke along on a treasure hunt then. It's pretty par for the course for pet bearded dragons to do so.
6:28 LMFAOOOO yeah you did get me there. Everytime I wanna play through the series I watch videos over the first one. Force my self through the 2nd and thoroughly enjoy the 3rd and 4th one.
I tried playing Drake's Fortune and had to stop pretty early on because the FOV and camera angles were giving me some serious motion sickness that I usually only feel when trying to play 1st person POV games.
@20:15 hes complaining about how nathan jumped the plane like hes had a choice to turn around... the plane was on fire and going down and they were shot down before he even knew about the aa turrets
Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is so good, I loved the island, Nate, Sully and Elena were all great characters, Eddy Raja was a really cool character, it was great to see him and Nate team up towards the end, the story was good, lots of fun action and exploration along with a great sense of mystery throughout the game, the Descendants, especially the Bunker section was really well done, great game still enjoy replaying it 👏👏👏👏
I think ever classifying Uncharted as an "Adult game" is extremely inconsistent at best, and incredibly stupid at worst. Uncharted is a game, not made for kids. This much is true. It has more realistic characters, and even more so, has darker themes. This much is also true. THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT AN ADULT GAME. Uncharted has tons of various different characters with different looks, personalities, ethnicities, etc. However, most notably, Uncharted is still a CARTOON. If you look at the way Chloe Frazer's character model was designed in Uncharted 2, compared to her Lost Legacy design, It's quite obvious that Uncharted 2 was trying to be a cartoon. I know I know. Uncharted 2 isn't Uncharted 1. Uncharted 2 manages to be EVEN MORE REALISTIC than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Uncharted literally starts off as some historical TV show with a Lois Lane ESC character(Elena Fisher) and an Indiana Jone's wannabe(Nathan Drake) No offense to either character, I love both and love every game in the series, however, their introductions are just very very fictitious and Saturday cartoon-inspired. Especially Elena being inspired by Lois Lane(At first) Yeah, also, I get that it's rated 'M' for mature, and has a sex joke in the beginning and tons of swearing later on. But I watched South Park as a kid. And even the stuff my Christian parents WERE okay with(Cause they didn't approve of South Park) it would still have swearing. I think many other kids who've grown up can say the same. Swearing is just a thing that is in all medias, even the medias okay for kids. The sex jokes are always in reference to sex, and wont make sense to a kid. Things like this happen in Cartoons and have ALWAYS happened in Cartoons ever since it became the most popular media to produce. Pixar mastered this by creating cute stories for children that also shared complex ideas and funny jokes and thought-provoking material for the adults, so that everyone would have something to enjoy about the movies. Things like THE INCREDIBLES, UP, TOY STORY, MONSTERS, INC, FINDING NEMO, and my personal favorite for Adults is INSIDE OUT. Those movies have SO many jokes for adults, its almost not funny. Except its still funny. The Story of Uncharted is romanticized as an Indiana Jones movie searching for EL DORADO, and ends with Fucking Nazi Zombies. How more cliche can it get(Yes, I know, Nazi Zombies werent as crazy when Uncharted came out) Looking back though, you can see that this game had all the easy story beats of a Cartoon for kids. Look at the Call of Duty series. Clearly made for adults but Is instead a breeding ground for 9-17 year old kids to call each other bitch and pussy. Uncharted may have been made as an Adult game but it shouldn't be classified AS an adult game.
themarine0316 you liking it doesn't mean it's a good game. I pushed myself to play it only because the controls are pretty clunky, but I do think it was an important game
sully mentioned that “he’s up to his eyeballs in debt” in chapter 2 which explains why he’s after the statue for money and when roman captures the two he tells nate that sullivan owes him a lot of money so yes there is an explanation to their past relationship, just a few details you missed
I just replayed this game a few weeks ago due to the quarantine situation. I actually enjoyed replaying it. I replayed all of them except the 3rd one lost me and didn't care to do the 5th one.
Hey Luke, could you explain more on why you think the series has a case of ludonarrative dissonance? I think it’s pretty neutral in its ludonarrative. Drake kills people, yeah, but not unreasonably in a way that wouldn’t fit him. He’s a treasure hunter and is usually hunted by other groups, so it makes sense he’d get into gun fights so often. His killing sprees are in self defense. I think GTA would be a great example of ludonarrative dissonance, but not Uncharted. Is it the sheer amount of waves of soldiers he fights that causes dissonance for you?
13:36 I don't think it was echoed directly on Nate and Sam. Sam was way more interested in money than Nate, of course. However, during the game Sam is portrayed as the pirate expert and he is really interested in the work of their mother. I think money is his big interested, but I think he is way more invested into history than Sully was in the first game.
I’ve played the first Uncharted 5 times now. Given that I played in 3 different languages in total but still, love the game, the old feeling of it. And maybe because I find that old stylish mechanics which feel so much like an arcade game (combined with a story, characters and one liners)
A game that delivered a solid 6-7/10 experience. Delivered quirky characters each with their own brand of personality and certain charms. And had tons of potential which was realized in subsequent releases. The only downsides to me were the repetitive scenery and a very very specific nitpick on the Nathan drake collection where I wish you could watch the cutscenes in its original frame rate.
My issue with your videos is that you hardly have any arguments to back up your statements, so all of this feels so much like an opinion based video, but you pretend as if they're in depth analyses.
Talking about “all the Uncharted games”, pointing out that everyone forgets about Lost Legacy, but leaving our Golden Abyss? I know it’s not made by Naughty Dog, but it’s still a good game and part of the franchise.
As one of the 20 people that actually got a Vita it is really solid for what it is. Drake actually feels the most like a historian in that game than in the others and learning about the civilisation through the artefacts you find added more to the experience of the game. Underrated gem imo
This game is vanilla, it set the foundation for the series that the sequels improved upon and expanded but when it comes to fortune the game it a product of its time, the gameplay is bland and the puzzles are ridiculous but it’s still a good game.
Just played it for the first time. Love the characters. The graphics for a game made in 2007 are simply stunning even in 2020. The treasure hunting aspect is amazing, the A.I is incredibly smart, and the first beginning chapters are absolutely perfect. Now...this game is freaking hard. Really hard. I started out playing normal, but halfway through the game I had to switch it to easy. EVEN on easy the game is flipping hard! They throw so much at you at once at so many times, you would think this game is a twitch shooter, but with clunky controls that infuriate you. You can tell the game was made to be very difficult, and test your skills.
Fun fact, Uncharted 4 has a trophy called Ludonarrative Dissonance. Either way, I like Uncharted 1 as a nice character introduction. It establishes the main characters and their relationships well. It has aged well, but serves its purpose either way.
One thing that laughably bothered me with uncharted was the narrow escapes. I know theyre part of this type game/genre but they were laughably convenient and abundant. To this day when i see convenient narrow escapes i think of uncharted.

I disagree with your "no replayability" stance. Well, for me personally at least. I love the Uncharted series, and as clunky as the first game is, I replay the whole series every now and then because I adore the characters and their interactions. That's just me though

@@Simon-oy7kf It served its purpose. It introduced us to fun characters and laid the groundwork for future cinematic games.
One Man Productions But looking at its now it is kinda clunky and pretty mediocre compared to other uncharted titles, it is a classic but not perfect.
You know that you can make a homage to something without taking every bit of cliche from it, right?
You could if you made a game. They didn't.
I know right. It is like criticizing mission impossible for being "unrealistic" and "over the top", when that is exactly what they are going for. They do not take themselves seriously, and that is really important to understand while critiquing games and movies like this. If they are self aware about using cliches, criticizing them for using cliches seems kinda meaningless
his critiscisms were right tho. This game sucks
yes, thank you
I remember first playing the demo on PS3 back in the day and being so amazed at how Drake’s shirt animated with his movements and especially how his running animation would adapt to his situation, when in a shoot out his stance would drastically change to be more alert and he would sprint automatically not just jog.
Michael exactly I remember standing under the waterfall and just watching him get wet then dry lol

Drake’s fortune is decent. Uncharted 4 is a mastahpiece tho
I almost agree with you about Uncharted 4. It's an amazing game, but when our much loved history buff/treasure hunters appallingly pronounce Mughal like "Muggle" I can feel my soul being ripped from my chest.
Uncharted 4 had good gameplay and good set pieces but the script is muddled. Feels like 2 scripts/ideas slammed together most of the time.
Canadish How exactly, the only thing that is similar to u2 is the opening of the game being late in the actual game, like in u2 with being in a derailed train
Canadish that’s because it is two scripts and ideas slashed together. To me, the story was amazing and didn’t feel odd tho.

Who said we were ignoring The Lost Legacy?? Look at the reviews, the game was just as good as the others one.
Drake's fortune is my least favourite game in the series, although it's still a solid 8/10.
@Randy White 7/10
5/10
Yah, it has aged but for a game from 2007 it’s pretty freakin good, so it deserves an 8/10.
How does everyone rank the series? I go:
1. A Thief’s End
2. Among Thieves
3. Drake’s Deception
4. The Lost Legacy
5. Drake’s Fortune
5. Drake's Fortune (horrible game even at the time imo)
4. Uncharted 3 (awesome setpieces, average story with tons of plot holes)
3. Lost Legacy (Chloe and Nadine make a great team, great scenery, my favorite puzzles and locations in the series, highly underrated)
2. Uncharted 2 (no explanation needed)
*1.* 4- A Thief's End (best story, best locations, best characters, especially Rafe, And best gameplay along with Lost Legacy)
*2.* 3- Drake's Deception (the same as 4 but slightly worse)
*3.* Lost Legacy (most relaxing, enjoyable character development and 2nd best villan)
*4.* 2- Among Thief's (good story and puzzles but very frustrating at times)
*5.* Drake's Fortune (speaks for itself)
MagmaAscending I completely agree with this ranking. Absolutely loved Rafe in Uncharted 4 and the pirate history. Also the environment was amazing.
Dwayne Johnson at least in 4 it isn't as bad as the last of us 2
How did not talk about how Nathan reacts when he realises Sir Francis Drake died alone without any treasure, it’s a poignant moment probs one the most memorable in this game
I think that moment is trumped when he realized the real reason Francis Drake was there. (to save the world basically.) So I think its a short lived moment.
Man, as weird and mediocre this game is, I’ll always love it with all of my heart
MATE! You... platinumed it? How? You beat it on BRUTAL! HELL!
@@ivostefanoff4946 Have to use the tweaks, even so, if you aren't careful, it won't make a difference, one shot, dead.... And I *NEVER* want to do it again lol
It doesn’t matter if the gun play is repetitive if it’s super fun (which it is).
This guy also doesn’t give the writing enough credit
It’s just a pretentious way of saying something that it might not actually mean
Elitists like saying that it means what it did with that dude that critiqued Bioshock, meaning that it will rarely ever mean the same thing again
I think people should just not say it because it makes them sound like a pompous tool
I replayed it 2 weeks ago. It's still one of my favourite games and in my opinion holds up just fine
i was litchrally scrolling through your channel last night trying to find a critique on uncharted and now it’s here. thank you for all you do!
3:12 I'll be calling him Borch Three Jackdaws.
I'm doing the same thing. The jump from 1 to 2 is amazing. Uncharted 2 is a masterpiece.
All these years later, my kids and I still laugh about the "zombies". Trope or not, it was scary, hilarious, and fun.
Uncharted 2 is the best uncharted game and I love the charm of the first one.
Uncharted 2 sucked imo
Okay making the transition from PS2 to PS3 was pretty awesome. Uncharted 1 doesn't hold up today, but back in 2007 or 2008 it was Pretty awesome
I got hooked to the first game and how real the voice actors made it. It didn’t seem like they were reading off a script it sounded fluid and natural and in uncharted 2 I love that the characters actions and voices were in sync.
love these videos, can’t wait for the rest of the uncharted ones
honestly some of my favorite moments are when nate is alone struggling with some grand obstacle
I really have to disagree on Lost Legacy- I really loved that title. Especially the semi-open world level
1:21 I would be interested in a Golden Abyss ultimate critique if you owned a vita and played it. It deserves more recognition in my opinion.
I remember the Golden Abyss. It was a good game and makes me nostalgic.
Is it crazy to anyone else that in a video about the 1st game but he mentions things from the 4TH GAME several times??
Get reinforcments? What LOL the plane is literally about to come down. Jumping out of the plane was the only option they had...The only dumb thing Nate did was send Elena out by herself and he just sat there and he even said "What am I doing?!?!" Which made me laugh pretty hard lol
God that first chase sequence I died so many times rolling off that stupid cliff
I've played it almost 20 times and will play it again soon.
I always was able to suspend my disbelief and I don’t think it’s over-the-top-ness is a weakness.
kinda weird to compare a 2007 game to 2020 standards imo
I remember when this demo came out, it blew me away. I played the demo for months until I finally got the game for Christmas. The game definitely has its flaws but it was a lot of fun.
Same I don't really think this guy gets how good game critique works.
Only Tomb Raider comes to mind.
Agreed. People find it hard to see the best in.. anything.
Will we ever see Villentretenmerth turn into an old dude trying to get you along on some treasure hunt? At what time does he do that usually?
Bearded Dragons can live up to 12 years, so i think around 9 or 10 he will be in his 60's in bearded dragon years. So you can expect Villentretenmerth to try and get Luke along on a treasure hunt then. It's pretty par for the course for pet bearded dragons to do so.
Rewatching so I can refresh for the movie coming out! Xx

Uncharted literally starts off as some historical TV show with a Lois Lane ESC character(Elena Fisher) and an Indiana Jone's wannabe(Nathan Drake)
No offense to either character, I love both and love every game in the series, however, their introductions are just very very fictitious and Saturday cartoon-inspired. Especially Elena being inspired by Lois Lane(At first)
Yeah, also, I get that it's rated 'M' for mature, and has a sex joke in the beginning and tons of swearing later on.
Why does he take it so serious it wasn’t ment to make sense and I can name millions of games and movies with these flaws
Blah blah blah. It’s still a boring mess of a game.
LOVE THIS VIDEO can't wait to watch every video.

sully mentioned that “he’s up to his eyeballs in debt” in chapter 2 which explains why he’s after the statue for money and when roman captures the two he tells nate that sullivan owes him a lot of money so yes there is an explanation to their past relationship, just a few details you missed
I just replayed this game a few weeks ago due to the quarantine situation. I actually enjoyed replaying it. I replayed all of them except the 3rd one lost me and didn't care to do the 5th one.
This game is still better than crackdown 3, oops i said it
Hey Luke, could you explain more on why you think the series has a case of ludonarrative dissonance?
Literally played and beat it for the first time yesterday. Definitely not a fantastic game, but really enjoyed my time with it.
It’s the assumed general public’s consensus on Lost Legacy based on personal bitterness towards it fa meee
Yes! Let’s look at all of the uncharted games!
Freaking hard? Is it a joke?
Great game , amazing series.

That's the whole point of the game though? It's supposed to be campy and ridiculous like Indiana Jones.
i got all the games for free on the playstation store and i’m playing all of them now. this vid couldn’t have come at a better time.
same here. I thought: "well that's convenient"
People on ND games : LuOP2!
Luke : "hey do you know Uncharted Drake's Fortune?"
love ur videos fam
Almost nobody holds the same opinion lmao but this is by far my favorite Uncharted
In what way is a villain supposed to be able to logically care about the financial gain of selling a BIOLOGICAL WEAPON *and* collateral damage? You ask for the impossible.
I loved Lost Legacy. I'll admit that the open world part got boring, but the characters and set pieces were great. I think it is one of the best of the series.
Really really glad this series critique is happening
love your content bro
The first time I played an uncharted game was when my Dad bought it at blockbuster when I was at shcool he bought UNCHARTED 2 and at the time I didn’t knew anything about uncharted I didn’t even knew that Uncharted existed at the time so when I arrived to my house my dad gave it to me and I saw the box cover and it looked cool I guess but when i played that game for the first time man I remember waking up at 2 AM on a Saturday just to play until the sun got up my eyes where al bloodshed and I lost the track of time , then Uncharted 3 boy was I exited when I saw that a friend of mine had it I ran to my local blockbuster and bought it ( had to pass all my exams first… thanks dad ) and man what a game , Uncharted 1 I knew it had to exist but I never paid attention to it but I got curious and bought it , now imagine playing 2 y 3 and then playing 1 for the first time after playing 2 y 3 … yep not a good experience but I liked the story and the nazi zombies scared the crap out of me… they still do and I liked the ending then with Uncharted 4 I was so exited I even put it on my Christmas list even tho the game wasn’t out yet I counted the days until it camed out finally after like 2 years same as 2 played it until I myself died or my mom got angry and told me to go to sleep and shut the console off now I’m 20 and still play uncharted thanks Noughty Dog for giving me a childhood to remember
Big fan of these saga critiques. Quite a bright idea if I do say so myself good chap.
Played the shit out of the first three games when I was younger (especially Uncharted 2) and also enjoyed A Thief’s End. Would love to see you review all of them in separate videos !!!
My biggest gripe with the Uncharted games has always been the shooting. The guns feel like they have zero weight and the enemies are massive bullet sponges.
I found Uncharted 4 to be the worst for this. The amount of bullets I had to pump into people even on normal difficulty was ridiculous
Headshots are one hit kills..especially on harder difficulty
Uncharted 4 should have had one shot kills in the bonus menu. At least you can run infinite ammo and get the grenade launcher or the reolver.
