This is the Jimin that has Always been there. People too busy calling him mochi(which he can be) but he’s a grown ass man and I Love it!! I love that you hear him and all the layers in his amazing voice. I haven’t heard a voice like his in years.

My opinion of our Jimin……people say he’s shy…..I really don’t think so. I think he is soooo very aware of his place in the group, with his country, with his fans, that he is hyper aware that how he acts, what he says, can have a negative effect that he is unwilling to risk. Because of that….he’s very reserved outside his “safe” environment of HYBE and BTS. So I was stoked to see him putting his true self and feelings front and center….he’s amazing. He says that the songs are about how he was handling the pandemic and I’m sure that’s true…..but nobody is going to convince me that these songs aren’t about “somebody” betraying him….somebody he trusted. He can wrap it up in a box and allude to it being about his inability to perform during pandemic…..but since he is a master of saying things with multiple meanings……leaving it up to us to interpret how we wish……well…..I’ll just leave it at that. BRILLIANT ALBUM💜
Yeah, in this song especially, he's definitely singing about someone who hurt him, like a breakup. The lyrics make it very obvious.
I do agree with you but i also do think he has shy tendency especially in situations he is unfamiliar with or people he is unfamiliar with. He does have a tendency to warm up fast though and not be shy especially if he is with his band mates.
@@myperfectworld27 i think he is talking about himself , he said this album is about facing himself. Sometimes if you are in a bad way having that tough talk with yourself is needed.
He said in suchwita it was a friend/s, after Suga said human relationships can be difficult from necessary so I definitely think someone he trusted betrayed him. Just my opinion

I agree. This Album is a masterpiece. An MV would have been nice for this specific song, Face Off is now another fave Jimin song.

The whole face album he said was he actual feelings and how he felt during the pandemic. It's him being vulnerable with his fans. But it's not how he feels now. The album is a masterpiece. Just beautiful. Love me some jimin❤

I loved Set Me Free Pt 2 and Like Crazy, this song though...it spoke to me on such a deep level. I listened to it on repeat for almost a half hour, lol. The whole album is just so dang good and his voice, just WOW!! And don't even get me going on his dancing....I could watch him dance for several hours and still want more!!! He thoroughly biased wrecked me with this album and I am completely ok with that!!! Thanks for the reaction!!

I think all the bangtan that have debut so far has done a "face-off"....they each are exploding in their solos...and it makes the fact that BTS was a solid unified unique sound for 10 years is even more mind boggling. It shows the individual talent...but they are still passionate about OT7

I love this song too. Well his FACE ALBUM is a masterpiece. Each song in a diffrent genre. Jimin is versatile artist even during BtS era his solos arent the same from the other one. He is a perfectionist and even how many times he has to re record the music he doesnt stop until its perfect and theres always a story behind to it. Cant wait for more solos of him in the future. Theres one coming up for Fast & Furious OST. The trailer was already so good.

From what I have heard this whole album was him trying to rid himself of the frustrations he was going through during the pandemic. He was drinking heavily and his peeps told him to get it out in music and that pulled him out of his funk. He had also stated to go through the album from the first song to that last to see how he got through it in chronological order and ended up with Set Me Free pt2. The beginning always reminds me of a carnival or side show which ties in to the masquerade lyrics-but yeah something or someone really pissed him off. And yeah they are grown ass men now and not afraid to use their voices.

He's also mentioned that he drifted apart from many of his friends during the beginning of the pandemic. He said that some of them cut ties with him and that he also cut ties with some. I've always interpreted the song as him calling out the people he thought was his friends and letting everyone now how hurt, angry and betrayed he feels.
The whole album is a masterpiece with different vibes
Okay so I have the CD and got it the day it came out and it’s in my car and that’s all I play in my car - loud! I love all the songs and they relate to all of us that lived through the pandemic. All those feelings of frustration and depression, our lives on hold, stuck at home, nothing to do. He’s said that it’s a chronological trip through his emotions from 2020 until they came out on the other side and could perform live again. The LVPTD concerts are where he came to himself and decided to “face” his own demons. So listen all at one go and you can feel how he changes and finally sets himself free at the end. He has also said this is a more raw and realistic version of himself aside from the BTS version which was more contrived at the beginning at least as to the persona he was to play in the group. Jin has talked about this as well and has said that his persona in BTS isn’t really him and a lot of times Jin doesn’t play by the rules.

I love this song and thank you for your reaction. 💜 I am just so impressed and proud of Jimin with his solo album and efforts. I mean, come on, his vocals are insane and the tracks are amazing. My only complaint is that I wish there were more tracks on the album, but I always want more Jimin content. 😊💜

The whole album was written during Covid. It’s his journey through the hardships and coming out the other side with a better understanding of himself.

Just like I'm OT7, I can't choose a fav from this album. I really love Face Off because it seems so personal to him. It is heart wrenching and he sounds so pissed. We'll probably never know who or what the song is written to. It could be a person, a group of people or someone he is business with. I just hope that it was a relatively small incident that he just blew up about and got over quickly.

He has finally freed himself from being told he was cute all the time and was portrayed that way, thats was okay for the time, but it probably wore thin as he matured. He now 28 and a man. I'm si happy for him after putting 7 months into this Album. He said songwriters is not easy for him, he is more of a melody man. Congratulations Jimin, you should be proud I f yourself. Have been a BTS fan for years but quietly screaming “ why is this amazing talented artist Jimin been taken off point position in dance formations & placed on back burner vocally” ?? TBH Nearly drove me ( & others ) out of the fandom. Jimin is finally free 🦋❣️
I also used to think that he didn't get enough lines on BTS songs but then I watched videos that keep tally on how much each member sings during a song. Fact is that JK and Jimin sings the most (almost the same amount) on every song and V and Jin only sings about half as much as them. There are many times when the rap line and Jin only get 10-15 seconds each while JK and Jimin gets 30-40 seconds.
But when it comes to the dancing I totally agree with you.
@@mellancarlsson do mostly agree with you. However A harmony vocal counts in those tally’s but not exactly a lead part. ( fan since 2016💜)
