Here's the combo for going-first pushing: Sneasel start. Turn 2: Bench Darkrai. Energy on Darkrai, target Active. Evolve to Weavile. Dawn to move energy to Weavile. That's a lot of damage and one-shotting anything that isn't an EX or stall Pokemon.
A similar start could also be accomplished using electric: Turn 1: Pikachu ex active, Magnemite bench Turn 2: Energy to Pikachu ex, Evolve to Magneton, use ability, Dawn to move second energy to Pikachu ex, fill bench with random electric basics and hit for up to 90 Dawn appears incredibly impactful on the surface, could fit into anything, but especially promising with Magneton, redundancy for Lt Surge to boost consistency could push that deck over the top. Also being able to move energy on to any mon instead of just a specific few is a major upgrade, moving just 1 instead of all can also be preferable sometimes, e.g. so you dont overspend on Raichu.
In the Original Pokemon TCG confusion was a unique Stackable staus (it can be stacked with ANY other effect). The way confusion works, whenever a confused pokemon attacked or retreated (AFTER paying the cost) they flip a coin, heads the fuction is carried normally, however if tails the fuction is canceled AND the confused pokemon takes 30 damage (Even when retreating). This effect works like poison where it stays until its benched.
@colby_247 once a pokemon is confused. When trying to retreat. U pay the retreat cost then flip. Heads u retreat like normal, tails u don't retreat AND u take 30 damage. This was how it worked in the original TCG.
@colby_247 because confusion is NOW being added into Pocket. I'm not 100% sure if they're going to keep it's effect the same. They might keep it the same or alter it so it deals less damage or the effect fades (like in sleep, once u flip heads sleep is gone). Wish they'd add a Muk with "Toxic" (a poison that doesn't disappear by benching. Only evolving and items can remove it. That also includes pokemon powers too. Powers can't remove Toxic poison). It would put an end to these decks spamming Basic EX pokemon (like Mewtwo, Clebi, and Pikachu).
I think dawn helps moltres decks become more flexible. Being able to attack for 70 after attaching energy onto the bench can be useful in some scenarios.
Confusion + Sleep + an effect like "smokescreen". That means the confused pokemon inorder to attack must flip 3 heads to successful land the attack. 1st flip (sleep), 2nd flip (confusion), 3rd flip (smokescreen).....in that order.
supposedly burn and poison can both be on a pokémon at the same time as well as one of either paralyze, sleep or confusion. 3 status effects at once could be crazy with aerodactyl ex for example. i don’t think it’s really viable yet, but it’ll be cool to see if that’s a valid archetype later with future expansions
We can attach to Darkrai first, do 20, then Dawn the energy to Weavile to attack for 70. All in one turn. 👌 Also, if Darkrai pops off, then Celebi stocks went up. Yanmega can work with jungle totem.
Thanks for the content, it's great, I've been watching all of your videos about the new expantion! Just a little comment, for Drapion you have actually an 11/16 chance of getting 2 or more heads in 4 coin flips, it's not 50/50.
So, technically, we only need two copies of each card, right? Since decks can only have 2 of each card name and all decks share the same cards. So we can grind away all but two of each for trade tokens?
FINALLY WRAPPING UP OUR CARD REVIEW!!! - I covered everything in this video but included timestamps for the relevant cards (: LIKE & SUB!!!
Here's the combo for going-first pushing:
Sneasel start.
Turn 2:
Bench Darkrai.
Energy on Darkrai, target Active.
Evolve to Weavile.
Dawn to move energy to Weavile.
That's a lot of damage and one-shotting anything that isn't an EX or stall Pokemon.
It's a four-card investment, but that's still awesome turbo aggro and could become something to consider whenever seeing a Sneasel lead.

@ Absolutely. I love how Dawn can enable *all* these energy batteries of any type into more legitimate supportive roles.

I remember that, do the Pokemon TCG Pocket needs to flip the coin before retreat when the Pokemon is confuse?

hahahahahahahhaa
im so happy shaymins ability works for all types of pokemon, you could use it in any deck

Mismagus + Hypno. Needs 2 heads to attack. Ironically, there's a penalty if either is tails.....fun times.
I was not expecting Yanmega Ex or Lickilicky Ex over Torterra and Empoleon. That's just strange.
Mamoswine is water because in the games, he is Ice/Ground and Ice types are water types in tcg

great video
I'm excited for Weavile/Darkrai deck which is likely played with Spiritomb. Easily the best new meta deck we are getting.
Catch yer breath king
I’m sick so I was winded basically this whole video 😂

Correct (:
But then what will you trade?
What about Dialga with Yanmega?
Lol to pay omage to gen 4 having no fire types they gave us 2 lines of fire types
WHY LICKTUNG AND YANMEGA EX INSTEAD OF TORTERRA AND EMPOLEON? WTF
Can u plz recommend which pack should i pick tdy??
Once I see the cards I’ll make a video on it (:
Sorry, my dude, but is it Maddie (like PocketMads) or Matty? 😂
My full name is Madison (weird I know)
What should I pull on first
Whatever you want to play! Dialga and Palkia are the flagship cards. So choose which ones you like the most and go for that pack?
I’m going palkia
Y is darkrai weak to grass
Because grass approximates bug, and crickets keep nightmares away
Mismagius and hypno sounds really funny. Opponent wakes up, now they have a confusion check lol.
no Munchlax 😒
Honestly true wth
no baby pokemon in general
