This is the Molly Stone's grocer story in Palo Alto CA. They used to sell a CD with a longer version of the song, and maybe a second track as well. It was fucking weird. If anyone has that cd, please upload it to youtube.
I’m glad you have heard of the CD too! I found it on Amazon and EBay but it was always out of stock, but yesterday I found another listing and it was in stock. It had pictures of the actual cd and case so I know it’s real. I ordered it and it should be here in a week or so. I was planning to upload it to TH-cam so I will send the link after I get it. You are right this show is a little weird with humans and bagels and vegetables all singing together. Keep you posted when I get the CD. I would like to see the show in person, hopefully someday.
Also I think the show was created by a company in Vermont called advanced animation. The cd we found lists 6 songs and the copyright is from 1992-2010 so they made them for awhile.
@@theeandbnetwork2200 The CD was actually a running joke at the Stanford University radio station KZSU. people would play it constantly as their go-to sound test and signal check haha. If you were sitting in a booth getting ready to do a broadcast or recording, they would often play that CD over the headphones to mess with you. I last saw that cd in the stanford radio station when I was there in 2012. I saw the display in the grocery store a few years earlier around 2010.
Where is Benny Bagelman's verse? That's the bagel with the baseball hat up at the top. That was the weirdest part. "My name is Benny Bagelman and I'm here to say..." we combined two stereotypes and called it a day. I can't remember how the rest goes but it actually starts with the line "My name is Benny Bagelman and I'm to say..."
