Another great Rory reaction! Yes, Rory was a special human, no pretense, no BS, and he gave members of his band opportunity to shine. This was part of a performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test BBC program in 1976 and it was Rory's 28th birthday. The entire show is outstanding. Suggest checking out "All Around Man" from this same show - it's a must-see and you won't be disappointed! Anyway, thanks, and keep on...
There's been so many great ones that the industry ignored! Rory may not garner the hits that Zeppelin or SRV does but he'll rock your soul. Try Roy Buchanan.
Love watching your reactions and seeing how you appreciate what us older folks were lucky enough to grow up with. Rory could have been bigger but kissing record companies butts didn't sit well with him. Saw him Detroit back in 70s, one of best concerts ever been too! We definitely lost this greatness way too soon but glad to see you youngsters keeping it alive. RIP Rory, Lou and Rod.
I remember seeing Rory playing 3 nights in the National Stadium Dublin- it was completely wild- he always played Bullfrog Blues at the last encore.... I remember it now clearly, the excitement- wow they were a really loud band when playing the loud songs like ‘Souped Up Ford’. Actually on this BBC special (remember there was only 3 tv stations in Britain (UK) and almost nobody got to play live concerts on TV. But when this song ended (bullfrog blues), the credits rolled - it was live tv - the cameras kept filming and he did an encore of ‘Souped Up Ford’ and the extended show was eventually released by the BBC... I think it is on TH-cam:.. it’s a song about well a souped up or pimped up Ford.. Des in Dublin
Hey hope all's good in your world, pleased to say I think I was probably one of the first subscribers to your reaction channel to suggest the late great Rory Gallagher to you,try and check out all of this show,it's called The Old Grey Whistle Test, and if I may check out anything Alvin Lee aka Ten Years After, take care mate,U.K. Billy
The one and only Rory Gallagher and his amazingly talented band! I enjoyed watching your reaction. I would also recommend 'All Around Man' from this show for something a little bit different.
Everything I ever read about Rory mentioned what a kind, selfless person he was, as well as a great guitarist. Gone too soon and forever missed.🎸
I can hear the Celtic chords. I’m Scottish. He’s a genius, you can keep Steve Vai.
As an 'old white man', it's good to see young people appreciating this old stuff, recognizing and promoting its qualities.
Gerry is my grandfather the bassist for Rory ❤
He's a legend
GOAT Bassist! Love, live Gerry. He kept everyone together and can rock so smooth!
I just love hearing you call him Rory G, the Irish Rock God. Thanks for finding and listening to some of my past.
Beautiful gifted Rory- gone too soon! The pride of Ireland.
One of the tightest bands you will ever hear!
“Hey Bullfrog!! Can ya hear me?!”
Irelands finest! 🇮🇪👍☘️

Rory was amazing. Set the bar for many who followed him
Another awesome reaction video, it doesn't get any better than Rory Gallagher.
Souped up Ford and All round Man from this same concert are a must to listen too.
Great straight up ass kicking rock.
Well Did You Ever, wake up with those bullfrogs on your mind. Yes Rory all the time, rock it out with The Irish Wizard.

Rory Gallagher is a vibe. Some people don’t feel it but those of us that do are a passionate bunch. Good on ya, POPE!
love Rory! Check out his cover of Chuck Berry's Nadine! Some great rock n roll!
That 61 strat axe battered and worn varnish and that fucking sound the maestro got from it.

They should have brought the bulldog Frogs on stage. On yeah!
Now you've got to hear Rory and Albert Collins on youtube Funk Jam. You won't be disappointed
Thank you!!! Most excellent reaction to the amazing Rory, as always.
That mid-70s band was my favorite band of his. Try "Souped-up Ford", "Calling Card", "Moonchild", or "Do You Read Me" from that era.

A relatively unknown artist and ban from 40 years ago. What are the top 'artists' today? Peace man. Auto tune and computer music, weak.
The poor drummer, i thought he was having a stroke.
Jesus, now that's real music!
