Ndara music of the Alur is a kind of xylophone over a hole in the earth instrument played by any number of people, up to 20. One person starts by making any note and the others follow. New musical sound is created instantly without scripts or planning in advance. Words and themes are put into the rhythm much later, if they have to do so. The is is a 2010 New Year creation by Parombo group in Nebbi District Uganda.
