I almost tiled this "How we should Move". There's nothing we have to do but using our body through all it's natural ranges of motion seems important! If you guys enjoyed this routine drop us a comment with your favorite movement :)
My favourite is Squat Crab. It combines my two favorite exercises for hip mobility (deep squat) and shoulder mobility (crab). Keep up the good work, and thanks for the effort!
I'm 53 now and have been working out since I was 19 off and on mostly on. And your videos are the very thing I have needed for a few years now at least. A ton of thanks. Great video
Love this. These primal movement videos have helped me more than anything after years of trying to rehab after spinal cord damage/ surgery and chronic back pain. I really appreciate you putting it out there
Wow, this is inspiring! Thank you for sharing this. I have been doing it 2x per day now for a few weeks. Excited to see where it takes me and I've already seen and felt some slight improvements but I know the consistency is what it really takes to transform our bodies from the sitting and technology ailments!
Your videos are great-real and to the point and convincing. And your vibe is excellent: honest, experienced, committed and convinced, but playful, relaxed and open at the same time.
The butt walk is by far my favorite! Going backwards was a big challenge though! Also, I want to note that I started this video with a lot of upper back stiffness and pain right between the shoulder blades. I ended this video feeling free, mobile and pain-free! Thank you so much! I will be continuously doing these movements from now on!
Idk what the consensus on ADHD/ADD is here and I don't care to hear but its so important for me to find exercise that keeps me entertained and this channel has been a GODSEND thank you!
Yes. Yes. Yes.This is awesome. I started going GMB elements about a year ago. This is similar and at the time I found it, perfectly placed in the next steps for many of my existing daily movement exercises. Thank you infinitely !
Fantastic!… Gratitude for all the quality, creative, fun, content you and your brother create! You two are excellent teachers and lead with inspiration and brilliance, thank you kindly!
Hey Josh, you remain one of my top TH-cam gurus, and someone who has helped me become my own guru! It was so cool randomly running into to you at Pacific Edge climbing gym in Santa Cruz a few years ago. Thanks brother!
What a fun routine. I happened to be stretching in my gymnastics club’s dance room when this video dropped so I just went along with it. Was very spontaneous and very challenging.
Amazing whole body, functional movements! I love the diagonal and rotation that so many "stretching' videos lack. Will become a regular part of my routine .
My first Primal Movement routine. Really helpful! Although I'll have to do it again in order to learn each movement right, it is so much fun! Keep it up!
the last workout was the cherry on top! love how it's fundamental movements yet i've grown unaccustomed to them so this routine felt very effective. i intend to do this regularly as we head into the cold season here
I am a big fan of your follow alongs 😊 So much so that I skip my regular yoga routine for your mobility videos. I do 2 in a row and my body feels amaziiiing 🎉✨️🎊 Love your energy and wisdom ❤
This is fantastic!! This is the kind of movement-play I've been looking for. I just signed up for the membership. I'm gonna sign up for Move Strong Now next month. Thank you for these videos and for sharing your knowledge!
I have recently added primal moves to my X3 program. Beast, crab, bear and ape. I feel great adding these moves to my program. I love this sequence Josh. This will be added to my weekend recovery program. Thank you for posting this.
I just tried this one for the first time and it's amazing. I was looking for a short workout that I can do easily during my work in the home office and I was bored of all the walking workouts. This is a great alternative. I'm feeling relaxed and stretched now, and at the same time I'm sweating and feel happy. So this is on my daily list from now one! Thank you so much!
I. Love. This!!! Some of it is very difficult for me but OH SO FUN!! At 44 and never really been in shape these types of movements really speak to the 8year old me. I feel amazing after this. THANK YOU
Learning these primal movements now - after retirment! I would have used this routine to warm up for games over my career. I guess next best is using them to warm up for life 😁 🙏🏾
This is still the best and especially the most motivational TH-cam Channel for anyone that is Interested in beeing Sporty and healthy and I Like the simple minimal cool vibe 🥳
Was thinking today that I needed something to compliment the Feldenkrais movement I practice which brings strength without losing the sense of flow and ease. Found this, loved it and will follow more!
Just found you this morning, thank you so much for your motivation, skills and abilities, mental and physical to show us these moves🎉 1 year ago I had lumbar decompression spinal fusion surgery that kicks my ass and I’ve been doing all the therapy I can. but this morning I did this routine and it awakened different parts of my spine, spirit and mind. Thank you from all areas of my heart and soul.🙏✌🏼💛
i'd love to see a daily dose of movements like this. maybe 20 mins long, full body...maybe each day w/. a different subject like the moves in ^ video, and others like handstands, pistol squats, etc etc.
I honestly think this worked me out more than typical “workouts”. I had fun learned something new and walked away a bit stronger thank you! Will definitely be doing more of these kinds of movements and workouts from now on. Great content
Going on 46 & found this after seeing that skinny guy with a black beard on Instagram that goes into a gym disguised as a cleaner & lifts the heavy weights like their feathers! Lol Never knew difference of strength training & mobility training…. Absolutely Love The Videos Josh & Strength-side Team! Have seen improvements in my flexibility …. Keep it going!! ~As Always, From Vegas
I love the "figure it out yourself" moves at the ends of these. The last one I watched literally taught me how to get up from sitting... I thought I already knew how to do that... damn... been doing it the hard way my whole life.
Thank you this is going to be my new daily. I have been keeping my art business on pause now 5 years because of chronic spine related pain, weak immune, and muscle weakness. Also now getting genetically tested for EDS to sus that end of things out. My lats and traps especially are having such a hard time strengthening! Crossin fingers 🤞
I know all about chronic spine pain, since I have been dealing with it for most of my life and I can also relate with the weak immune, since I've struggled with severe histamine intolerance for about a decade now. The thing is: what helped me most was eating healthier and getting stronger. It's going to hurt to get there, but it is worth it. I promise. Ever since I started regularly climbing and doing workouts 3 years ago, my spine is much more manageable.
Oh my God that was great - I actually found my wrists a bit compromised - having broke one once - but I managed this short version a bit slower than you despite the false knee! It was just like being a kid again - LOVELY!
I have watched your videos for many times and admired your physics and athletism! Thank you some much from such a quality content and dedication to help people feel better. I will take some of your drills to use for sure it will help my ju jitsu I know it already!
This was brilliant and here’s why. I ended up pulling my neck muscle, and today was my calisthenics pull up day. There was no way in hell i was planning to do my pull ups workout today, I came across this video and thought this would help at least get a light sweat in and maybe just stretch out and relax my muscle. By the time i finished the neck soreness was gone and I felt like I was a lot more stronger and more flexible throughout my body! Thank you so much for this!
Challenging for me, but I'm old and it was hurting my knees a bit, but super fun all the same. I'm going to become strong and fluid through all planes!
My Pilates instructor does some of these, and we are seeing more movements in the Yoga practices, i.e. animal movements. These motions are also great for the brain.
Thanks dude, this is exactly what I needed today! Going to do this at least once per day going forward. It felt SO good and so natural. Like my body was remembering how it is supposed to be moving. 🤘
Just came across these movements yesterday.. and i feel I picked up pretty well from day 1 as I managed to do all - even the backward movement ( which looked pretty challenging ) came in quite easily.. i am a happy beginner to primal movements.. But I feel i will familiarize myself more with these movements for about a month alongside the usual routines I follow and then try to challenge myself further... Many thanks to you .....from Sri Lanka

Sleeping
the crawling on all fours!
You should call it animal flow, I think that’s the original OG name for it.
My favourite is Squat Crab. It combines my two favorite exercises for hip mobility (deep squat) and shoulder mobility (crab). Keep up the good work, and thanks for the effort!
65 years. out of action for 2 years ue to hip injury. Have chosen this to start strengthening. Love it
67 years, no injury, but these exercises are still the answer
Thanks for offering a fun way to explore intuitive natural movement into our lives!

I got a bad disk. Nothing seems to help... but this feels different... right somehow.
Far and away the best Primal Flow Channel on YT. 68 and still moving strong.

What a fun routine. I happened to be stretching in my gymnastics club’s dance room when this video dropped so I just went along with it. Was very spontaneous and very challenging.

Thanks. I like all primal moves. I am very tender so that's perfect for me. Thanks for your being. Much love much light
This is a good 'use it or lose it' regime for people of a certain age.
Any age, ANY age
We should do these movements anywhere, anytime. And let those weard , fat monsters look at us
Hopefully it can be a “use it and build it back“ regimen for certain-agers.
You said it
I am the certain age of which you speak! I do animal movements so that I can cause havoc when I’m in a geriatric ward x
Good stuff! Thanks!

Wisdom and passion, exactly! The best coaches I've ever had. Everything so natural and connected. Bravo! :)
