This song was a "get on with your day like everyday" song to me. Even when you feel sad or not, life moves on and you must move on with it. That's the feel I get with this song.
Man, I have such a soft spot for the GSC soundtrack, and you really managed to capture that bittersweet nostalgia with your renditions. This associates to so many sweet childhood memories, the feelings of mystery and wonder, not a care in the world...
This is the only cover I've seen that plays the second part of the verse right. Very well done! Azalea Town has always been my favorite, just because of the music. Very, very lovely arrangement.
This is actually the Heart Gold/Soul Silver version, so TECHNICALLY it's played wrong when viewed through the lens of the original G/S/C soundtrack. I honestly can't find any covers of the OG soundtrack version - everyone uses the HG/SS version, which plays up that second part of the verse and changes the key a bit. I still like this version, but I'm playing through Crystal again right now and I greatly prefer the original.

The first time i played pokemon was on red fire, there was this soundtrack on the 4-5 islands, and i was like "this song is so beautiful!", this was the very first ost that i ever liked. This song doesn't give me only nostalgia, but also i think this music without words can express the real feelings of ourselves.
