As a kid grew up in early 90s, i can relate to this so much. I experienced the fear of this y2k event during childhood. I'm glad we have bookish theories to help us uncover and decode bighit's storyline.
that's why every time I read the title of their song and lyrics there seems to be a hidden word and story and there was a meaning back then every time I played drunk-dazed and given-taken I was just dancing I couldn't imagine that behind the lyrics of the that song has a hidden word they want to convey to us.
now I feel more comfortable with the mv because at 1st watch, I couldn’t see how it fit in with the storyline especially the vampire part. It makes sense so thank you
I was in high school during y2k I stayed home instead going to a party that night because if the world was gonna blow up I wanted to be in my pjs in bed watching it on the tv. We survived y2k AND the rapture, were pretty bad ass.

Everything you said makes a lot of sense! With each MV and song lyrics I had already thought of things very similar to what you said, so I think I'm not the only one who thought that way! I loved!! For me, their story has always been very clear, maybe because I was born in 82 and watched a lot of vampire movies and series, among others!!♥
I originally kinda dismissed this video as not really fitting But now it's all just clicking into place With the Y2K bug - the worry was computers not recognising the difference between the 1900 and 2000 And in the previous MVs, the "past" looks very 1900-esque With of course the modern being post-2000 🤯
