- The Splatoon 3 Zipcaster was one of the most anticipated specials in the game as it seemed like an incredibly fun way to close the distance and splat an enemy. While when the game came out, it was a lot harder to play than it looked, the zipcaster still maintained a lot of popularity and the ones who optimize its situational usefulness and change the tide of the match. Right now some of the weapons that possess the Splatoon 3 special are the Octobrush, the vanilla carbon roller, and the all-new splatana stamper. Zipcaster is a good special🤷♀️ I just suck at it. It can be very annoying to go up against too, like you said as a charger user. Maybe Reef Slider next? Great Video, Alpha!

You forgot the PTSD that gets in the head of an anchor when they hear Zipcaster noises. All you can do is run and pray they don't find you. That is the TRUE reason people use Zipcaster
True, some people who use zipcaster really just don't want anchors to play the game LOL!

Zipcaster is probably my least used special. Not because it's bad, it's because I'm really bad at using it properly. Making full use of this special takes a lot of practice. I don't know how people like ProChara do it...

From my couple hours of playing it for this video, you really have to plan where you're gonna go before you use it. It isn't like the other specials that you can just throw anywhere. Even then I could usually only net double kills at best though.
I play octobrush as my main (254 wins baby) and zipcaster can be unfortunate sometimes it's fun once you get used to it.
I use my zipcaster for evil. Inking the very back of the enemy team's base. (And I feel the power clam moment. Done it myself.)
Splatoon 3 seriously upped theyre games about making balanced, but useful but also extremely fun specials, and zip caster is like on the top of the list, this thing is the most fun ive ever had with a special, I main backliners but secretly i go out at night and play zip caster weapons because its just so fun to go anywhere instantly and cause a huge nuisance and jump out of there before they even realized that they're teammates just swept off the face of the planet. seriously, zip caster is one of my favorite specials and i cant wait for more zip caster weapons, hopefully they put it on the squiffer, can you imagine😍

SOOOODDFEEERRRRMMMAAAANNNNN!!!! In other words I see zipcaster as a unique special that makes a good flank while you do whatever you want to do. A height skill level is required to use it at full potential and that’s probably why I have never used it.
Some of the weapons like stamper are very awkward with zipcaster too but all of them can be pretty effective.
The power clam thing is literally the first thing I did with the Zip caster.

I can’t tell how the zip caster with the clam ball is so relatable to me and the worst part is that I thought you couldn’t with the inkjet because you in some sort of air strike mechanism but I thought I could with zipcaster because you had free hands so I was like that’s fine I’m not carrying anything that’s preventing me.

@@eaa1338 well the method of dropping or passing a clam ball would normally be just throwing it dd o it wouldn’t work unless if you die but in that case then, you might as well just super jump

Squiffer would be especially since it can charge up just as quickly on the air as on the ground.
as a stamper main this is 100% accurate, we all think were going to do well but we end up doing absolutely nothing

When splatoon 1 was a year old I imagined of a jet pack in splatoon and a Spider-Man power up but I thought they would never exist
The amount of dopamine I get from swinging around the map like a mad man is unmatched.
They’re adding the Neo Splash back… and in the direct a Splash had Zipcaster- so it’s pretty safe to assume that… guess I’ll be becoming a Zipcaster main then when it come out!!! I’ve mained the Neo Splash since Splatoon 1, then in 2 and the Vanilla Splash is good, taking over the meta, but it’s just- not the same… (I’m still EXTREMELY salty about them getting rid of Bomb Rush/Launcher…) but it’s still my precious Neo Splash 😭

Honestly even if i charge gun gets a zipcaster, those weapons use too much ink for that to matter, grabbing unto a wall takes ink and at most maybe 3 shots can be fired before having to return i would guess so not a huge threat

The Zipcaster is really awesome. I don’t use it all the time but it is fun. Also, I remember seeing it in the direct but I was not told its actual name until August. Until that point, I just called it SpiderMan lol
I think everyone called it the Spiderman special until Nintendo told us it's official name x)
