I love the Ultramarines because they are the only ones (to my limited knowledge) that are the Chapter of a god damn imperium of their own. Sure, most of the Chapters have a planet at their disposal, but the Ultramarines have an entire sector. Their culture being that of Roman empire which has always been a source of admiration. I quite like the modernized version of this and their worlds seem to be relatively just and fair to its inhabitants. Not as much so as the Salamanders are towards their home, but close enough. Probably are some descendant chapters of the Ultramarines that are more similar to the Salamanders in that regard.
