I'm not annoyed that he had to use a safety save, the setup for this glitch is so absurd that I don't blame him! Still an excellent demonstration and explination of the glitch though, I'm so impressed someone worked out how to do this and that it can be done in realtime.
I much rather have someone use a safety save then ending the run early. I remember watching a dark souls speed run with Agdq and the guy made a save before going out of bounds because it was known to crash.
It's crazy what the community have done in this game, even after 15 years still have more things to explore with, for me GTA San Andreas is the best GTA game.

I understand the Windows Store Version allows you to extend cutscenes for as long as you want by pausing constantly, and that also the setup to get an OM0 phonecall (Both the new one and the old one) can only be done in the remastered version, but I don't know whether the line of code which allows the arbitrary jump in script is present in all versions of this game or only in the Windows Store Version. If there is a reddit post explaining that I'm unaware of its existence :(

Does anybody know why every single time I start a new game, I can’t recruit any homies on life’s a beach? I can recruit them on another save just never on new game. I’ve even re-installed the game but I still can’t do it. I’m pressing G, I’ve reset my controls. Any ideas? Please let me know.
I have a question: what is under stats shown how many missions are completed and the other question are the barriers gone to get to SF and LV or are they still closed.... it was interesting to watch but I didn't get it. :/
Oh that last mission. Fight desperately through Big Smoke's crack-house for at least 20 minutes before some car hits you while you're trying to catch Sweet off the fire truck. If you fail, better start from the very beginning mate! Thank God Rockstar started implementing check-points after this.
Did you not get to start the different parts over if you died in them when the game first released? Like when I played it, if you fail part 3 you just start from the beginning of part 3 again. But that was a long time after release with fan patches etc.
End Of The Line is a three part mission. If you never managed to find what graknorke mencioned it is probably because you were loading a save instead of going to grove street to start de mission again. It was already included in the original game because that is the way it's coded. All these new checkpoints are super annoying and useless. If you fail you should restart from the beginning
