I remember that my XR600R had greaseable linkage and I fondly remember adjusting XR valves (no shims!!). These are easy bikes to maintain and own.

Been enjoying the videos. On some of these jobs you say you’re going to do something and then the video cuts to you saying it’s all done. I think it’d be interesting to see the work being done, like the valves being adjusted. Keep up the good work.

@@kevintaylor6375 I’ll try and make some adjustments. To be honest, I don’t know what I’m doing with making videos or working on bikes and I get caught up in the task and forget to video 😆

I get that it’s tough to be mechanic and video guy. Looking forward to more videos.

You guys made a good purchase on this bike, I am curious about the suspension b/c I know it's kinda soft on this bike or the
few I've seen had big boys on them taking it all down a few inches. Honda often has other suspension pieces that can be put
on other bikes & IDKnow if you'd even care about the center suspension but some bikes will allow you to put a Moto-Cross
front end right in place of what you have? Again, I'm asking right now as better front end makes everything better for
    riding. thanks for the video

Thanks, I think the bike has been great so far. Excited to ride it for the first time.
I’m curious about the suspension too. I’m unsure if this bike is stock or not. My plan is to strip it all down and give it the RaceTech suspension treatment. I’d love to put some upside down forks on it, but that means all new steering stem and clamps. Maybe down the road if I can find a decent price on a setup!

I'm sure it's stock b/c few really go thru the time/expense to change suspension on a bike like this.... but like the 150L
by Honda can swap the front forks w/ the moto-cross 150 & there's others as well. The difference is the moto version
is generally a set of inverted from forks & the dual sports aren't normally beefed up as much. That said, I don't know
if Honda has any bike that can swap out easy but it can be done & if you can get a better set of front forks it always
is a better safer handling for you. If there's no straight swap out, bolt for bolt - meaning you don't have to change
anything, then I'd want them but at this point I'm only asking if they exist? IF I find out I'll tell you b/c now I really
want to know. Soft suspension is a concern for bigger folks or if you carry any gear w/ you. See, I've been looking
at lots of dual sports & considered the 150L, that's where I found there was an exact swap so now I wanna know
about this one? Anyhoo, I'll see ya on the next installment. peace
