Actually, Gujranwala isn't as developed as other cities in Pakistan. If you're in Lahore, you must visit Bahria Town and DHA, they'll give you a glimpse of the new Lahore, and make sure to visit Model Town as well. For historical visits, places like Minar-e-Pakistan, Pakistan Fort, and Badshahi Mosque are a must. If possible, visit Islamabad via Q Connect, the best and most expensive bus service in Pakistan for travel. As for the bus routes, Daewoo operates good buses on the Islamabad and Lahore routes, providing the route use the motorway. However, in Gujranwala, the buses are not as good due to traveling via GT Road, but now Faisal Movers and Q Connect are leading the way.

I was in Pakistan in December 2022. My tour : New Delhi to Amritsar via Amritsar Shatabdi, auto rickshaw 🛺 from Amritsar to Attari, walked across the border from Attari to Wagah, (no hassles on immigration on both sides of the border due to Western Passport 🛂), lastly took a 21km taxi ride from Wagah to Faletti Hotel Egerton Road, Lahore. I further went to Faisalabad (Lyallpur), Gujranwala and Peshawar. I visited two Senior Secondary schools and four University Colleges in all. Elite schools have totally different standards than the normal (Government) schools. People are nice and very courteous, despite knowing that I come from a Christian family. Pakistan has the Best non-veg Food of South Asia, Indian non-veg is far behind that of Pakistani non-veg Food. In fact, Karachi Cuisine tops as the Best non-veg Food of South Asia.
